system marching up the east coast at this hour, but it'll be quick, expected totoe history by as soon as this afternoooo well, as concerns grow over the zika virus here at home, health officials in brazil say at least twoases were contracted through blood transfusions. with 12 of the 50 plus u.s. cases in florida, the governor there expanded the state of emergency to a fifth county and asking the cdc for a thousand kits to test for zika antibodies in pregnant women who may be at risk. ranking michigan officials knew about a spike in legionnaires' disease in flint much sooner. the disease may have been linked to the contamination of the city's water supply. the governor said last month he had just learned of the connection, but e-mailobtained by the associated press show state agencies and high ranking members of his administration knew about it ten months earlier. a mass exodus is under way lose their hold of a key

a man stuck on a cliff for days. this dramatic rescue operation in washington state. a homeless man was hoisted to safety after being stranded on a cliff for three days. the man had slid to the edge of that cliff just a few feet shortrt of falling to the river bebew.

shouting for help. he's back on terra firma expected to be okay. well, enjoy the low gasoline prices while you can. president obama is proposing a $10 a barrel tax on oil. that's likely to raise gas prices about 25 cents a gallon. white house aides say the oil fee would fund environmentally friendly transportation projects such as mass transit. but it's unlikely to get a green light from congress. well, there's another huge air bag recall. ththe involve the controllers for air bags in about 5 million vehicles worldwide. the air bags made by a german company can deploy without reason or fail to inflate at all. the recall involves older vehicles made by honda, fiat, chrysler, mercedes, mazda, volkswagen and volvo. it's not related to the much larger takata air bag recall. sad to say the deadline has passed and california lottery officials say no one has submitted the winning ticket for the $63 million jackpot.
