" " " " " " deborah good evening and thanks for joining us... i'm jess plue. a sioux city woman gave birth to a a sioux cian gave birth to a baby girl, shortly after, her doctors diagnosed her with stage 4 breast cancer. now her friends and family are coming together to help out in the best way they know how.

brings us more . bria: rebecca anderson is a fighter and her family and friends know that. after being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, rebecca's loved ones came together to help out by raising money through a live auction called benefit for becky. "yes, the power of 'bec'...we've got a silent auction going on" rebecca anderson welcomed a baby girl into the world in november of 2015. shortly after that, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. "it's kind of crazy just to think that i would have breast cancer, after delivering my third baby and you know getting ready to have maternity leave," says anderson. as family and friends of anderson became awawe of her diagnosis... they got together to host a benefit for rebecca, or becky as her friends call her, to raise money for the anderson family. "never in my mind did i imagine that it would be this huge of a turn out...it's amazing all the people that came together and donated items,

got everything prepped," says anderson. items donated will be auctioned off and proceeds from the benefit will help to assist the anderson family with medical expenses. anderson's cancer has been deemed to be stage 4 and she will have over 25 weeks of chemo and radiation combined as she continues the fight for her life. she says her jounrey has allowed her to view life with a new perspective. folks with " launch-pad memberships" explored the new chrildren's museum in sioux cici. described bebe as a hands-on ....gionally based, physics, and engineering experience, explorers can gain insight and a colorful and fun environment. the museum is set to open to the public, february 11th. abc 9 was able to speak to those who were happy to get out and enjoy their weekend at bacon creek park.
