a sioux city man is in custody after shooting and wounding a veteran police officer of 13- years early this morning. the officer was treated and released from the hospital abc 9'bria bell is in studio and has more updates bria eighteen-year-old isaiah mothershed is in custody after shooting the veteran officer and the sioux city police department were called to an apartment complex at 2447 park avenue to investigate reported robberies. mothershed has had other run-ins with the law as he was arrested for kiddnapping and assaulting two men back in july of 2015. neighbors at valley park apartments say today's incident was out of the ordinary. "probably like around 1:30 a.m. going on 2, i saw two ambulances pull up and then i looked out the window again and it was a bunch of police cars and of course a round 3 something they starting putting up yellow
