and george is in mchester for all the latest in the race for the white house. good morning to you, george. >> right here on the scene. hey, robin, good morningg to you. a little snow out here. flries but that's not going to stop the voters expecting a record turnout here inew hampshire today and they've already started voting in new hampshire. they started at midnight, dixville notch, the first town to vote atmidnight. you see it there. three towns have voted already. already counted the votes and we have some results right now. on the democratic side, bernie sanders leading hillary clinn, 17-9 among the fir v votes actually counted and on the reblican side a three-way tie, you got donald trump, john kasich and ted cruruz all with nine votes each actually counted votes right now. so we got a long day to go. >> very, very early there, george. we have team coverage and take a look at this. we are live all across the state with the campaigns a as we count down to tonight,t, gege.

are gogoing to jn us in just a moment but begin with tom llamas in londonderry, new hampshire, one of the biggest polling stations in the state. good morning, tom. >> reporter: george good morning to you. as you mentioned they're expecting rececord turnout in new hampshire at this location, up to 12,000 voters and hope just 12,000 because that's how many ballots they have. moments ago they oped this polling station. all these voters coming out grabbing ballots going to those ballot boxes and filling them out. right there a we speak, the votes are being counted right now. for some it's a decision that only takes ten seconds but will have a lasting impact. >> she just said a terrible thing. >> reporter: overnight, donald trump giving an "r" rated campaign speech repeing a vulgar word that a woman used to describe ted cruz. >> she said he's a [ bleep ].

>> forhose watching. if the debate gavave them pause, what's your pitch to them? >> look, first of all, i don't think it gave many pause. if you look at a biometric we looked at from fund-raisingo interest on the web to google searches, we had a very strong debate. the media is fixated on the first ten minutes especially in a place lik new hampshire. i have more national security experience and foreign policy experice than anyone else on the republican side. by far. and beyond t that i would say i give our party the best chance to dohree things, to unify, to grow and towin. just yesterday poll comes out and say if i'm the nominee i beat hillary in new hampshire so i thinkoters understand i'm as qualified and as conservative as anyone inhis race but i give us the best chance -- >> you'll campaign till closing time. >> we'll go to polling places starting right now and look forward to flipping a few last-minute ves which c could mean the difference. >> thanks for coming in.

who shot a police officer sunday morning at a northside apartment complex isaiah mothershed is currently in the hospital facing several counts including attempted murder of a police officer .. robbery and one count of home invasion. also facing a list of charges is 19 year old justin ferguson, and 20-year old robert seaberry, 18 year old jordyn delfs is being charged with keeping a disorderly house and harboring a missing juvenile. that missing juvenileo part of mothershed's group, 17 year old micayla knight, she contributed in planning the robberies and is also facing charges three other juveniles were also involved and will be prosecuted as well. is now speaking out saying he@ and h his wife tried to do everything they could to protect their daught. abc's eva pilgrim is here with that story. good morning, eva. >> reporter: good morning. this case sounding alarm bells on social media for parents. nicoco lovell's father talks out his daughter this morning. the father of nicole lovell speang out for the firyt time sisce learning the details of his daughter's death. >> i know sheought like a wildcat. i mean, she's my kid. >> reporter: two virginia a tech students, 18-year-old david eisenhauer and 19-year-old natalie keepers are behind bars accused of allegedly plotting to murder the 13-year-old for weeks. authorities say eisenhauer had an inappropriate relationship with r, communicatingng with her on social media. lovell's father telling dr. phil her family tried to step in after finding out she was talking to older m men online. >> my d daughter in ohio had dug

accounts and kik and so on and screenhotted me a few of those. >> reporter: abc newsinding this screen shot ofer kik account showing that around thanksgiving she was chatting with a guy named david. >> they had actually had some very vigorous and on point discussions about her social media activity in novemr and december leading up to this. they had taken her phone away from her because they felt like she was having some inappropriate conversations. >> reporter: one of lovell's friends telli abc news she referred to eisenhauer as hr boyfriend. authorities say eisenhauer told them he saw her the nig she disappeared giving h h a h beforeoing home. four days later police finding the girl'sody 80 miles from her home, about two miles from eisenhauer's grandparents' home. >> i like to be locked up in the same cell with him. i'm pretty sure i could get answers out of him.
