we never doubted each other. >> reporter: it was also another big rally for bernie sanders in greenville, south carolina. he got some celebrity help from actor danny glover. sanders isisorking to court the black vote. which led to a a awkward lukewarm reception at this predominantly african-american church. tomorrow night sanders and clinton will hit the stage for a democratic town hall at the university of south carolina. as for trump, who's leading in nevada by 26 points, he says he's still not being treated fairly by the republican national committee, but the chairman of the party told abc news that the rnc will support trump if he wins the gop nomination. reena and kendis. reena and kendis. >> he certainly got momentum. kenneth, thank you so much. well, bernie sanders' civil rights record has been called into question. but this morning, there may be proof of his commitment to the struggle. the protester being arrested in this video from 1963, has been

his campaign said the video was taken in chicago during a demonstration against segregation. at the time, sanders was a 21-year-old college student. and this morning, the other big story, the uber driver accuseseof a deadly shooting spree, reportedly even picking up passengers between killings. >> it's such a horrible story. six people are dead. this scene overnight, hundreds of people attending a prayer service for those e ot in kalamazoo, michigan. while police say the uber driver jason dalton appeared to choose his victims at random. one of his passengers was s frightened he called 911. >> we were kind of driving ththugh the medians, driring through the lawn. speeding along. finally, once he came to a stop, i jumped out of the car and ran away. >> none of those shots were dalton's passengers. two other people were wounded. one of them is gravely injured this morning. the victims range in age from 14 to 74.

motive right now. this, we know about dalton, he is a 45-year-old former insurance adjustor, he has no criminal or known history of mental illness. uber says he passed a background check. dalton is married with two children, and police say, they checked, his family is uninjured. well a pair of deadly bombings in syria. may complicate cease-fire talks. isis claimed responsibility for the blasts that left more than 100 dead. the attacks came just as secretary of state john kerry announced a tentative cease-fire agreement that could begin in the coming days. but he acknowledged it's not finalizezend all parties mightht not automaticallllcomply. > the state department is responding to reports that the u.s. had secretly agreed to peace e lks with north korea before its latest nuclear test. u.s. officials s they considered a proposal but demanded the north korean's nuclear arsenal had to be a part of the talks. the fbi director said apple

gags under way that caused a packed megas to erupt in flames on its way from chicago to minneapolis. a driver and 40 passengers were onboard when the bus caught fire. everyone got off safely with no injuries. they exited the bus so quickly that most of their belongings were left behind and lost. one of the passengers onboard that bus was "the new york times" budget travel reporter lucas peterson, he was tweeting out as the frugal traveler. he said that driver says it's just a flalafire, there's no need to panic. goes out. nutes later, smoke s srts pouring out of the bus. and then, quote, small fire over wheel becomes big, people abandon luggage and get away. the entire thing goes up in flames, series of loud booms. well, another tragedy in michigan, six members of a family have died from carbon monoxide poisoning. the sheriff in fenton says the generator left running in the basement is the likely cause. the family had lost power friday night. a wowoied grandfather discovered the bodies over the weekend. the victims including four

pitting her against a marriott hotel is getting under way. andrews is seeking $75 million in the case from an incident eight years ago. she accused the hotel of allowing a man to book a room next to hers, then she claims he rigged peepholes and filmed videos of her changing clothes. the trial is expected d take about ten days. a young woman in miami is fighting for herife in a hospal. the victim of an alleged assault by a man she found as a roommate through craigslist. 23-year-old danielle jones lived with the man named byron mitchell for a week before being brutally beaten and left for dead. mitchell has told police that he was attacked by jones and acted in self-defense during the incident. mitchell is now charged with attempted murder. her momoer says jones is starting to show signs of recovery. a close call for a new home salesman near oklahoma city. he smelled gas at this model home and left to call 911, when it exploded and left him

he was not injured. authorities believe the first home filled with natural gas after someone stole the gas stove from the kitchen. a dramatic rescue by the coast guard was caught on camera in washington state. the helicopter arrived just in time t tsave three people in the water. two surfers and someone who had tried to help them. the heavy waves knocked away the coast guard crew. no one was injured. and a dramatic rescue captured on camera on a frozen lake in ohio, two dogs pulled to safety after they fell through the ice near akron. an emergency crew suited up in protective gear to get them out of the frigid water. >> they're very happy this moing. now to some sports. and let's put it this way, if the rest of the nascar season shapes up like yesterday's daytona 500, it will be the most exciting nascar season yet. >> it was pretty dramatic, wasn't it?
