plead guilty to his crimes today. tim: our elisa raffa was in court today and has re. elisa at gridwall two bodies found in july of 2014 in plymouth county..a year and a half later, the case is closed and nathan neunabererill be put behihi bars. jonathan neaber has plplded guilty one count of second degree murder and one count of willful injry for killing his mother, esther neunaber. back in july of 2014, police found both neunaber's father and mother dead, but later found that his father died of natural causes. esther neunaber, however died of blunt force e trauma with over fourty strikes to the head. today, a judge ruled that these actions were done with malice of fore thought. " actions were intentional, they were deliberate and they were th malice of fore thought. the court would further find that based upon the manner in which he used the pipe, the pipe would be considered a dangerous weapon under iowa code" jonathan neunaber could

prison, fifty for sixty years in prison, fifty for the murder count, and ten years for willful injury. neunaber must serve at least seventy percent of his sentence before he is elligible for parol. elisa coming up tonight at six we'll hear neunaber admit to his crime and detail what happened that night. reporting live in studio, elisa raffa.. abc9 news tim: a routine traffic stop turned into a high speed chase sunday afternoon in spencer. just after 4:30 in the afternoon yesterday, spencer police attempted to stop a ford ranger pickup for a seatbelt violation. the vehilce initally pulled over for police but as the officer approached, the car sped away. the vehicle led police on a high speed the south portion of spencer and eventually into reaching speeds of 93mph.

old blaine laurens was apprehended without incident. stockwell was charged with 15 offenses. jenna: a state senator from cedar rapids running for u.s. senate. rob hogg (hoag) filed the nomination papers today with the iowa secretary of state's office. he'll be on the ballot for the june 7th democratic primary. hogg submitted over 13,000 signatures from iowans in all 99 counties and calls this an "exciting milestone" for his candidacy. hogg says he plans to campaign in northwest iowa this weekend. tim: a shooting today at a high school northeast of cleveland-ohio left four students injured. authorities now say a 14 year old boy opened fire inside the cafeteria at madison high school. two male students, 14 and 15 years old, were hit by gunfire. two other were injured by shrapnel whihi trying to escaca. the injuriesesre non-life threatening. authorities say they have an idea
