what can you tell us about what happened? >> reporter: alan, police were here on the scene for about three hours, just now able to clear this spot and move forward as they continue their investigation, trying to figure out how these two men died in a car that had a wreck at this spot. this is just about 30 minutes ago as police are still removing one of the bodies from inside the car within the last hour there. you can see the car was destroyed when police found it. that's what it looked like when they came upon it. someone told an officer to check out this spot after noticing the crash. police called in the wreck around 2:00 a.m. but it's unclear when it happened. a reconstruction team was on the scene earlier along with a medical examiner. it looks like the car lost control and may have been speeding at the time. police were here managing the scene along with the fire
