the latest on the six debt and kalamazoo michigan. police in douglas county want to find this man accused of a sex assault. this guy off the streets. aurora. >> near east hampton and south neighbors have been evacuated while deputies to get it underhand. sean tunis. >> reporter: something is to keep in mind it that this part of town has two schools in the area. that likely will have some impact for families getting ready to start their day. here is what we know about how this started. deputies responding to a welfare check last night is there trying to get to that location and make contact with the man he fires a gun from the

they think he was looking for more fares after the final attack. uber says dalton had passed a background check in the company issued a statement extending condolences to victims and families and offering help with this investigation. closing arguments are set to begin in the case of the woman on trial for a brutal jamie leary's life from the boulder county courthouse with more. this is a. >> reporter: testimony wraps up friday already and this case will be in hands of the jury. attorneys will have a chance for closing arguments for the jury deliberates the fate of 35- year-old dino lane. it wrapped up a week ahead of schedule and defensive not present the case and barely cross-examined witnesses. lane is charged with attempted first-degree murder and

night in parker. officials with douglas county said the female victim was driving on the east side of the city thursday night when her car broke down. the suspect approached her and assaulted her. he is a 6'3" that white male between 20 and 30 years old. investigators said he was driving an older model white or light gray single pickup with floodlights about the. parker police put out the alert on social media asking for the suspect. melissa garcia. police are sorting out who is responsible for this crash in a world. a dozen people were sent to the hospital. howard nathan says many of them were not wearing seat belts.>> reporter: the driver needed a hug after her suv collided with this honda civic. a passenger in the saturn ejected. >> i saw someone laying here. on the other side there was

healthwatch, taller and heavier teenagers could be more prone to cancer. teenagers who are heavier and taller may be at greater risk of developing non-hodgkin's lymphoma. they tracked 2 million adolescents and found overweight and -- taller than average teens faced a 25% higher risk of lymph node cancer later in life. stanford researchers say a blood test could make it easier and cheaper to diagnose tuberculosis. doctor say a gene signature in blood can now help them detect active tb. the disease kills 1.5 million people each year.

last night, west of 470. >> reporter: we can see crews getting ready for the commute by adding barricades. clearly they are anticipating this to last for a while. this is a swat standoff that we saw last night and has continued. it started last night before 9 pm as deputies were looking into a welfare check may try to make contact with a man at this location but he fired a gun from the front of his house. one round went off but no one was hit and no one was hurt. a reverse 911 call went to the people in the area and those homes closest to where this is happening the ones evacuated. there was an rtd bus on scene if anyone needed to stay warm. aurora police are working with arapahoe county sheriff's office and it is a suicidal man who barricaded himself inside a home.
