another drop in the price of crude oil, bringing the markets down today. the dow fell 188 points, the nasdaq lost 67, the s & p 500 gave back 24. american candy maker mars, announced a recall, affects about 55 countries. it includes millions of mars snickers and milky way chocolate bars produced in the netherlands. the recall involves most european counties but not the u.s.. it comes after a customer in germany found bits of plastic in a snickers bar last month.
