>> we have -- we heard boom, boom, boom and proceeded to go into the building. >> i know the shooter personally. he was my partner. >> were there indications that this could happen with him? >> no, never would have thought in a million years. >> a police officer was able to kill the gunman. a man allegedly with a lengthy criminal record. ten are owe >> family and friends came to the building plant to make sure their family was safe. one person reunited her husband during a live interview. >> how is your husband because you were able to talk to him? >> i was able to talk to him. he said he was okay. someone next to him got shot. god. oh, my god. >> an emotional scene. a huge sense of relief for those people unharmed.

county shooting that left nate dead when deputies were serving an eviction notice. deputy martin is upgraded to serious condition. hancock was treated for a graze to his ear and released. the suspect had a record of violence and a threat. here's kelly werthmann. >>reporter: when park county deputies went to evict martin from his home, they knew it was a risk. last month, worth threatened to shoot the first cop he sees according to an incident report from the park county sheriff's fred never believed the eviction would take a violent turn. >> not to the extent i would somebody. >> he shoot at three deputies. >> that's not something i would have done knowing these people in the past. i would have
