bill involving mental health evaluation. there's so many shootings involving those with mental illness, jaime. >>reporter: during the theater trial, this was a big point of contention. whether or not james holmes mental health evaluation should be recorded via video and audio. of course, his defense team during this trial did not want this to happen. they argue that state law doesn't require it, and it would impact his responses. one psychiatrist testified saying he has recorded scores of examination and it shows that -- he also said the camera would be unintrusive and it would give more of an accurate and complete record than handwriting notes. with this bill being introduced this afternoon, it would require a court ordered mental health examination to be video and auto recorded. the da who prosecuted
