from the crime scene. police say a man went into the u.s. bank on colfax this morning and handed the teller a note, and took off. police caught him not too long after. he ditched some of his clothes on his way out of the bank. a bill would not allow red light cameras on local streets or neighborhoods but would allow them to be used in school and construction zones and thoroughfares. the odds nearly impossible. yesterday a colorado woman gave baby. 29th. congratulations to all of

back to campaign 2015, we're getting new results in. polls are closing on this super tuesday. >> sean boyd joins us tonight. >> it's shaping up to be interesting and crucial. donald trump and hillary clinton look to cement their leads. no one will steal the nomination tonight. with half the delegates on the republican side and a third on the democratic side up point. polls are close in several states. donald trump is the projected winner in alabama; virginia, tennessee, and georgia. and within the last few minutes, bernie sanders won his home state of vermont. sanders also thinks he can take colorado, oklahoma, massachusetts, and minnesota. most of the states dole out

a gruesome discovery outside an abandoned yacht in the philippines. >> fishermen discovered a mummified body. it was owned by a german national but they have not been able to identify the remains. there was an au but the results will not be known for a couple of weeks. canada has resettled 25,000 syrian refugees.

the canadian government plans to allow thousands more privately sponsored refugees. the dashcam video shows a toddler falling out of the trunk of a moving van in china. the car behind pulled over and picked up the boy. he was reunited with grandpa. the man says his van was rear-ended a few days ago causing the latch to be loose. >> that is incredible. i can't believe he just fell out of the car. >> that happened to me as a kid. >> that explains a lot. into the weekend and tomorrow we're going to see some winds. we have no weather problems right now. winds are light. no problems at all. we had a little bit clearer today than yesterday. some high clouds drifting across, a few snow showers up there in the northwest. high clouds pushing in. high pressure holding. most of this will go to the north. some of it is just pushing down into colorado right now. as the high pressure moves in and builds to the east, it will take that snow and push it over our state. a warm southwesterly flow. and we told you yesterday that that's gonna come right down the front range, a little cooler air. only into the 50s today. all the action back east. it is all snow. and some of that is pretty heavy. let's look at our future chance for the win. not much going on right now. we

they're still expecting ted cruz to pick his home state of texas, and also john casick and leaving trump a run for his money in the state of vermont. developing now, the investigation into fake parmesan cheese has uncovered a potential health risk. castle cheese in pennsylvania pleaded guilty to selling parmesan that was mixed with cheaper cheeses including mots -- including mets rella, swiss, and wood filler. the cheese was also stored in an unrefrigerated room. the company did find listeria in its production area ten times but never tested the actual cheese. the state inspector gave the plant grow glowing reviews. and that inspector has since left his job with the state to work

>> i'm with cbs news. >> that man would not explain those inspections. self-driving cars can also crash. one of the cars hit a city bus near the headquarters in los angeles. it was trying to get around sandbags when it flipped the bus. the employee believed the bus would stop. a survey from aaa discovered 75% of drivers say they wouldn't feel safe in a self-driving car. 60% would like some of those features like automatic braking or self parking. advocates say the cars are safer because they cannot be sgrakted or impaired. bill gates tops the list of

,, update. breaking news, cbs news projects republican ted cruz has won his home state of texas. that was a must-win for him as he tries to derail donald trump. >> but trump is having a very good night. cbs news projects he has just won virginia that. gives him at least five of the 12 states holding g.o.p. primaries and caucuses today. >> pelley: hillary clinton is having a good night, as well. she has just won texas. that make six wins for her tonight so far. john dickerson, a good night for the front-runners. >> yeah, and the challengers don't have a good story for how they can beat back those front-runners. ted cruz won in texas.
