there were fun clubhouse is dedicated to careers in science, technology, engineering and math. girls got to try out the green skiing -- green screen. most of the girls that we met said that they love math and science.>> we love them in late elementary school and middle school. as the girls age, it reminds them of the interesting careers of that are out there -- the interesting careers that are out there and hopefully gets them to stick with stem.>> reporter: the event is a reminder to encourage girls and their interest in those areas. it was fun and super awesome and we will do it next year. we had a lot of the cbs 4 team there. it was a really fun time.

great news for the skiers. during the morning hours, the snow and moisture stays in the high country and creeps to the foothills around lunchtime. in denver we may see rain showers in the afternoon and evening. there could be showers out that way. snow will continue in the high country and then it continues with the resurgence tomorrow. in denver we should stay on the dry side after today. 56 in greeley and 60s and 70s out east. 30s in the high country and even low 50s on the western slope. high temperatures will be in the 50s and we will in the week with mostly sunny skies and in the 70s. a great start to the commute this morning. we have the cones up for the express lanes project. that is what we see across the denver metro area.

as you head into the high country, chain restrictions in place at vail pass. you get to the east of that through georgetown on i-70, it should be a better drive for thank you. today the city of denver will post flyers warning some of the homeless population to move off the sidewalks. it is a focus on the homeless camp set up in the area of lawrence and park ave., west near coors field.>> reporter: personal belongings and makeshift homes line the sidewalks along warren street. a number of resources are nearby and it is become attracted to the homeless. >> i am out here free and i do what i want. >> reporter: there are concerns about health and safety as pedestrians try to navigate through it. they seem to agree.>> i cannot
