good tuesday morning. i'm britt moreno. >> i'm alan gionet. this is the news on cbs4. the plague of heroin in the area and the people it afflicts. jaime is live. >>reporter: the big announcement coming in this morning involving the bus of a major heroin ring. we have details coming up on cbs4 morning news. >> jaime see you in a minute or two. tonight, you can weigh in on a proposal to add more parking in veil. a flood victim in louisiana whose rescue was caught on camera talks about what got her into trouble. the high waters are now responsible for at least 7 deaths. yesterday we got a look at that rescue this morning. we know more about the story there. we want to look at the forecast. >> back here at home, we're expecting another pretty warm day. dave aguilera is tracking the forecast for us. dave,

down of everybody from street level dealers to high level distributors. according to the denver coroner's office, four people have died. rick salinger has been documenting this problem for years and he visited the cherry creek bike path. syringes are easy to spot. he reported how the been working hand and hand with the dealers and despite police action, it has been a difficult problem for the city to cleanup. details on this bust are expected to come this morninged around 11:30 at the judicial building. the charges, we're told will be at the state level. live in denver, jaime leary, cbs4 morning news. >> thank you for that. voters in vail can lift the ticket tax. the fund could create more parking.

travel in the eastbound direction of i-70. this is at federal. you can see the flashing lights within the last few minutes. that's not the case westbound along c-470. there's a closure of a big stretch that starts right near quebec and extends to university this morning due to an accident. you can see the long line of purple along there and we zoom out across the denver-metro area, we've got slowing along c-470 as well both directions from king carol out ongoing paving operations. alan. >> joel, thanks a lot. a deputy killed in the line of duty is suing the department. nate carrigan died when worth began shooting deputies when she entered his home to evict him. carrigan's say they were let down. they're suing claims gross negligence. they claim

after worth after he went into the home. the sheriff said he did not order a swat team because he didn't think worth would become violent. a california man behind bars facing 7 counts of arson for sparking a fire which destroyed 175 homes. reid bennion has the latest. >>reporter: california residents in a wild fire. >> detectives with the a tans owe -- the detective assistance office -- >> they believe the man was connected to fires in lake county. despite having a suspect in custody, the battle is a tough one according to daniel.

republican donald trump is trying to -- donald trump is trying to convince those he's the right candidate. he's trying to suspend visa's. it's not clear what further trump would do here, but trump is calling people who wish to enter the country to take an ideological test to see if they harbor american values. >> the time is overdue to develop a new screening test for the threats we face today. i call it extreme vetting. >> trump also argued that any country willing to work with the united states against isis would be considered an ali. russia is attacking targets in syria.

cleveland today to talk about her economic plan. yesterday while in pennsylvania she talked about trump's plans. >> he talked about letting syria becoming a free zone for isis. a major country in the middle east that could launch attacks against us and others. >> clinton want to increase the number of syrian refuges the united states lets in. she'll work with moderate muslims who she believes are key to defeating isis. hotel operator hei says 20 property in the united states may have been hacked. that includes a hotel in the high country here in our state. mal ware may have been collected. customers information and credit card information. the data was collected from december of 26, the 2015 through april 10th of this year. the western snow mass resort is the only colorado

information from the ground. we're going to see how that effects your morning commute as we move forward. it's in the westbound direction. that's the one bright spot. if it was in the eastbound direction, we're going to see high volume -- i-270 looking good. i-76 and 6th avenue, you got c-470 to the south of 285 is slow both directions as you make your way from king carol all the way out to 285. we've had flashing lights the bridge at bellevue in the northbound direction of i-25 from our cbs4 tech center cam. and you can see the flashing lights moving off to the side. hopefully we can get the rest of those cones picked up and moved out of the way. some families in need of eye care is seeing easier today and that's because they got a chance to get eye care on wheels. kathy walsh has the details for us. >> cover your left eye.
