guards after vandalizing a gas station. lochte's attorney says in a statement he's not aware of federal police charges and no matter what happened at that gas station, the swimmers were robbed by people with a gun of people appearing to be law enforcement. whether it was ransom or not, that $400 million payment the united states made to iran in january was held up pending the release of hostages from iran. state department for the first time conceded yesterday that it delayed that payment to remain max leverage -- >>reporter: the state department says the $400 million cash payment the government made to iran came along with a catch. iran wouldn't get the money until the prisoners were freed. >> we sought to retain maximum leverage until after american citizens were released.

the atf and denver police want to talk to these two women about an attempted murder. police believe the women may have information on a shooting outside of an aurora 7-eleven back in may. no one was hurt, but investigators linked the weapon used to five other unsolved violent crimes in the metro area. the women may be driving a small black sedan, possibly a toyota yaris. he's 5 years old in of a long and seemingly nonstop war. this image of this boy emerging from syria provides a new face in the horror of that war. the civil war is responsible for the deaths of 40,000,000 people. rick salinger talked to the reporter of arapahoe. >>reporter: it touched hearts

you scrub your cantaloupe when you get home. take the scrub brush and go over the cantaloupe. if it's too heavy because some are three, 4 pounds and you want to get it around, put it in a colander in the water. when you cut into your cantaloupe, take your knife and cut through it. when you cut through it and you're done, wipe your knife off or wash your knife before you cut in because -- when you bring this home, it can sit on your counter for 3 days. if you don't eat it after 3 days which most people do because how can you not eat it, then you cut the rint. >> the rocky ford has taken precautions itself as far as
