developing at least two colorado women are suing their former doctor. >> they claim he treated them for multiple sclerosis for years when they did not have the disease. cbs 4 investigators rick sallinger is at federal court with the story all new at 6:00. rick. >>reporter: karen, so far two lawsuits have been filed here at federal court. but the attorney for of other people in the same situation. the lawsuits filed so far are on behalf of brenda culhane and mercedes aragon. they describe seeing the same doctor who sent them for mris and told them they had ms. the women were given medication for ms and treated over a period of several years.

gary m. weise he sold his practice in vail and moved to florida. each of the women had other doctors then look at their cases. that's when they say they learned they did not have ms. dr. weise who's had trouble in other states entered into a settlement with the state medical board where he agreed not to renew his license in colorado. >> this is a really sad example tragic example profits over patients without any checks or over sights. where was the medical board? how does he come to colorado with his past history and get a license. >>reporter: dr. weise is practicing in palm bay florida. we reached out to his office but so far calls have not been returned. live at federal court rick sallinger cbs 4 news. thank you rick. to an update on two children kidnapped by a man who stole

store in federal heights. the children have about reunited with parents. samuel hug hard snapped these picture as police ended the suspect run from officers. the mom left her 3 month old and 3-year-old in a running jeep as she walked into a family dollar store. that's when the suspect drove off in her car. officers caught one all three at i-25 and thornton parkway. a former police officer from ault d crash involving road rage was in a courtroom for his advisement today. the crash was in june highway 85. esteban moreno, jr. died. investigators zajac son and moreno were speeding and tailgating each other. they say at one point jackson cut off the other vehicle causing moreno to lose control and crash. jackson was off duty at the time. right now the search is on for a man who rammed a police cruiser during a traffic stop

following the wreck at 39th avenue and peoria. police say the man then left that truck, stole another and took off again. copter 4 showing us the parking lot where the thief ditched that first truck it's nearly 10 miles away from the first crash. that's at south holly and evans. cbs 4 kelly werthmann on that scene. kelly a wild crime. was anybody hurt? >>reporter: thankfully jim. luckily no police officers or bystanders were hurt in this morning's chase. authorities want to find the man who stole truck from this parking lot. a man police describe as dangerous. >> it happened like that. >>reporter: this is where it all began. denver police trying to stop someone for narcotics near this motel 6 off peoria ends up colliding with their suspect. >> the diver failed to stop. >>reporter: using this black truck the suspect rammed into

off. >> still southbound he's probably doing about 70. >>reporter: while chasing the stolen truck from lakewood, officers lose sight of the suspect. minutes later a woman realizeed her white truck is missing. >> she came out to get in her truck to get something out of her truck and her truck was gone. >>reporter: surveillance video from a liquor store near holly and evans shows what happened. the suspect abandons the black truck then manages to get inside and steal this white one in less than 60 weekend. >> all of a sudden li cop cars came into the parking lot. >>reporter: james steel lives across the street and saw the moment police came rush to go the rushing to the scene. >> nobody was in there. >>reporter: the primary evidence for investigators they say a dangerous man is still on the run possibly behind the wheel of yet another stolen

this morning he presented himself to be a grave danger to the public. >>reporter: now police say the suspect may be driving a white ford truck. it's a 1998f250 with black flames. it also has montana license plates that read b 4-813. police do not have any further description of that suspect. the man is believed to have now stolen two trucks but they say anyone who spots that white truck is urged to right away. we're live in denver kelly werthmann cbs 4 news. two commerce city police officers are in trouble for playing pokemon go while on the clock. field training officers have been suspended from training recruits. sources tell brian moss that commerce city recruits quickly confess their superior officers were not training them in actual police work but searching for pokemon go characters. happening now a security company here in the denver area

for blue line protection group. the company provides guards for pot shops. cbs 4 jennifer brice live in denver. this company has a lot of jobs to fill. >>reporter: think about it jim. because the marijuana industry is primarily a cash business, there is a lot of money being made in protecting money. >> it's still a cash industry. it has to be secured. >>reporter: with the legal marijuana industry comes booming. rickie bennett a former law enforcement officer runs the operations at blue line protection group. it's a security and transportation company. he says more than half of their clientele are in the marijuana business and they need to hire more security guards. >> our industry is expanding rather quickly, and our business is expanding rather quickly. >>reporter: blue line held cannabis security job fair they are looking to liar 30 to 40

crime related to marijuana industry. many pot grow operations and shops need the protection. protecting the cannabis industry is high risk. recently a gunman shot security guard travis mason to death at an aurora dispensary where thieves tried to rob the store. his wife spoke with cbs 4. >> i want them to be punished for what they did. >>reporter: mason did not work for blue line but bennett says the need for protection is becoming prevalent for the marijuana industry because it continues >> particularly those that are legitimate businesses that are running very well. they are saying i don't have time really to look at these ancillary issues like security and transport of cash from my product. so, i want to focus on my business. >>reporter: and blue line says a lot of their staff you are former military and also law enforcement. live in denver jennifer brice cbs 4 news.

this video of taggers dedee facing the rocks at lookout mountain park. >> get a frontal of your face real quick. >>reporter: saturday afternoon joe and his fiance' heard the sound of vey paint cans while hiking. they saw orange graffiti on the rocks. >> they spray painted someone's name. someone's name is gay which obviously is homophobic. >>reporter: he moved to colorado two years from florida to enjoy the outdoors. when he saw the graffiti so especially for the beauty and nature that we have here in colorado. >>reporter: he yelled at the two young men and started filming as they tried to hide their faces. >> i didn't want to put myself in an unreasonable position while they were out there but at the same time i wanted to get enough information they could be tracked down and hopefully prosecuted later. >>reporter: joe followed the tag tagatose the parking lot where he videoed the temporary license plate of the bmw they threatened him.

off to the south and east nothing downtown in denver but we have seen pretty get showers and thunderstorms especially to the west and south. and you can see we had flood advisory goes into 7:45 delta mesa. doppler radar indicated about 2 inches of rain had fallen hence the flood advisory. you can see a lot of that moisture pushing right in up over the state. here it is on the hour by hour forecast. you can see how it all dies morning here come the showers and thunderstorms once again. shower and thunderstorm activity over gun i son county. it moves high up near vail pink color rain mixed with snow. s probably 11,000 feet. you can see it hangs around there and then maybe by 10:30 in the evening late we see some showers kinds of push through the denver area we see partly cloudy skies and by thursday here comes some more showers and they too will push into northeastern colorado.
