three-month-old and a man were killed. about 200 firefighters responded and needed three hours to put out blaze. police believe someone set that fire intentionally. near los angeles, firefighters have contained the blue cut fire. that fire destroyed 105 homes and forced tens of thousands of evacuations last week it. charred more than 37,000 acres. not clear what caused t spray-painting vandalism on lookout mountain. an 18-year-old has been charged after we aired video taken of him at the scene. it was all over the internet. rick salinger talked with the young man who now says he regrets his actions. >> you know you're defacing property, right? >> reporter: caught in the act. now with the help of this video, jefferson county sheriff's investigators have charged 20-year-old stan steadler with a

5:30 in the morning, we may have a few showers over here. a little heavy, scattered thunderstorms through the rest of the day. thursday, same situation. storms come flying along into the metro area, snow in the vail area, that continues over the eastern plains. some of that could be heavy at times. and friday much more widespread along the eastern border and through the mountains, and right up along the front range and into the mile high city. here's the kind of situation, we had surge of air move through, cooler by 6 degrees over yesterday. here's the serious air, yet to get into the state. it's gonna push in overnight, and the as a result will be the 70s for tomorrow. 87 and 85 today, close to normal for this time of year, starts of 61 and 62. 76 and 78 right now. west wind at 16% --.

carlos hernandez fernandez is facing 14 felony counts for posing as a doctor, unlawful sexual conduct and child abuse. the suspect operated the hfc on south federal. the district attorney's office investigated a complaint by a woman that led to four other victims who suffered permanent damage. he will be in court for a preliminary hearing september 20th. >> reporter: in boulder the latest on an apartment complex that left hundreds of students without a place to spend the night, the city says the property owners could be penalized. last week the building was deemed uninhabitable. all this happened at the university peaks apartment complex east of the boulder campus. many parents are not happy. >> some rain has arrived.
