joins us now live from the denver rescue mission. >> reporter: here's that lawsuit now. items like these, personal items like these were removed back in march. seven months later, the people who own those item are still hurting and angry about it. one homeless man had documentation here. when he came back, it was gone. that's one reason among many this lawsuit, federal lawsuit, was filed was people. denver's homeless, either looking for a place to rest, foreyou're the city, you're looking for the way to remove an eyesore. the solution in march was a sweep that involved removing personal possessions. >> the city and county has no right to take our possessions or tell us that we have no place to camp. this is our home. >> reporter: the lawsuit timed this morning in federal court says the city used a camping ban

a man in illinois is accused of sending threatening tweets to colorado state university of pueblo. he said he was upset after hearing about a lawsuit involving a former student. the suit was filed on behalf of former football player grant neal, kicked out of the school after being accused but not convicted of sexual assault. dalton hallsworth told investigators he felt express himself after hearing about the case. now he's facing felony charges. the colorado avalanche have a new head coach. >> patrick roy resigned earlier this month. just a few weeks before training camp. what do we know about the new guy? >> if you're not a hardcore hockey fan your reaction was, who? a new sign alerting drivers at 50th and federal in denver to really watch out motorcycles. allstate installed the sign. it wants to help reduce the number of motorcycle crashes on all denver roads. this is one of the area's most dangerous intersections. >> there are three motorcycles to date -- motorcyclists killed, and we're trying to take that down to zero. >> last year the motorcycle deaths hit an all-time high in colorado, 104. the national park service is celebrating its 100th birthday. we put a list of all the fright sites here -- free sites here.
