this is haystack tv, powered by haystackhelp.com. finding reliable services can be like finding a needle in a haystack, but with haystackhelp.com, finding the needle just got a lot easier, now here's the host of haystack tv, chris kane. owning a home can be great, but also come with a long fix-it list. but that's where lakewood plumbing and heating can help. lakewood plumbing and heating is a diverse business that covers routine plumbing and heating service needs, but it can also take on your larger projects, such as remodels and sewer line replacements. lakewood plumbing and heating been serving the entire denver area for more than 40 years. the company is licensed across the metro area, and they're a bbb accredited business with an a+ rating. torrey cosgrove is the owner of lakewood plumbing and heating. thanks for joining us. great to be here. so, tell us more about your company. plumbing and heating obviously, also air conditioning. you bet, we are really proud of our diversity.
7:56 am
you is very diverse. from drain cleaning, minor service, faucet repairs, to whoe house repipes, outdoor excavations, to we do a lot of boiler, furnace, and air conditioning changeouts also. alright, and you offer 24 hour service as well. yes we do, i have an emergency service every night and every weekend we have a drain cleaner on call, a heating and cooling tech on call, and then a plumber on call. alright, and i've used you guys personally. e very straightforward, and your people are not commissioned. right, right. we pay our men by the hour, and we only want to do what you need, not what we need. and i think that's fantastic too. because i have worked with commissioned companies, and there's some good ones out there, but they're also incentivized to sell more. i mean, that's how they get paid more.
7:57 am
alright, and you offer free estimates as well, so people that want to have you out to the home, they don't have to feel pressure that they have to buy something, right? you bet, you bet. and that's mostly on the bigger jobs. however, on smaller jobs, i'll try to give a free estimate, it might be more budgetary over the phone just to give you an idea what it's going to cost to change a hose. well, a lot of what you're doing is an emergency, right? i mean, they need you right now, and so you've got to come out. but you can kind of tell them, hey it's going to cost about this before you go out there. need you. but when they're planning on something, whether it might be a new furnace or a new air conditioning, you can come in, give them an estimate. absolutely. and there's no pressure for that. absolutely. so i think that's great. right now though, it's a kind of in-between type season, so you can probably get a lot of pretty good discounts, right? you bet, you bet. we're kind of entering that pre season furnace and boiler time of year. so it's never too early to have us come out and look at that
7:58 am
and the fall is the perfect time for that, late summer is the perfect time for that. and it's late-season air conditioning now too. yes, so if you're a planner, which a lot of people aren't. you get most of your calls for heat during when it's really cold. but if they wanted to plan, they can get some discounts on a furnace ahead of time before it gets into that season. and what about air conditioning now that we're at the end of that season? absolutely, so we're going to make an offer today for the haystack listeners. time and we're a little bit slower at the end of summer and the beginning of the fall too, so it works out for both of us. yeah, but you've got to be a pretty good planner to take advantage of it. so if you're watching this and you want to plan, you can get some pretty good discounts right now. when you do come out to check out maybe a furnace, or an air conditioner, what are you looking for? you know, we're going to look at the age of the equipment, the condition of the equipment, and if it's properly sized.
7:59 am
all right, and then do you want to mention any specials for our people? well, yeah. what we're going to do today is offer 10% off of your quoted equipment, such as boilers, furnaces, air conditioning, and tankless water heaters or maybe some high-efficiency water heaters. all right, perfect. take advantage of it, be a planner. thanks so much for being here, certainly appreciate it. always good seeing you. you bet. from plumbing work that includes remodeling, to heating and air conditioning, call lakewood plumbing and heating at 303-233-7007, or visit their website, lakewoodplumbing.com. the first ten callers to mention haystack, they will receive 10% off their service needs. the number again is 303-233-7007.
