tomorrow? they could be! developing now, two dogs have been put down after a deadly attack in conifer. >> reporter: the dogs were taken here where they were euthanized. neighbors didn't think they were a problem. but authorities revealed a more complicated history. the owner the dogs could become aggressive years before tonight's attack. susan shawl was killed in the doorway to her garage, the dogs were mauming at her face. investigators do not know what caused them to attack her. >> the son haired commotion and

the search for these men police say may have been breaking in to fiddler's green amphitheater and stealing booze. they broke in three times this month, always late at time. bottles of liquor, wine, and beer. they are in their late teens or early 20s. a woman is robbed at gunpoint with her kids in the car. the man pulled a gun and demanded she got money from an a, m and home.

denver police officer john adsit is headed back to work after two years of recovery. he was nearly killed while run over trying to protect student protestors. he spoke with karen morfitt about preparing. >> reporter: he says it's kind of like first dave school. >> i found out last week from my doctor that he was gonna give me permission to go into a modified limited duty position. >> reporter: his last day on the job was in december of 2014.

a viewer learned about the problem with drive-thru banking and contacted us to get her story out and warn all of you. how does this work? >> reporter: karen these criminals are target these banks with multiple lanes here at the drive-up window. they're hoping that the teller on the other side of the window can't positively identify who is sitting in the driver's seat. and for the victim who called us, that cost her a couple thousand bucks over the >> immediately after i found out that my bag was stolen, i called wells fargo and canceled my credit card, canceled my debit card, i filed a police report. >> reporter: but she didn't tell the bank her i.d. was stolen. a day later, her account was frozen and she was missing $2,000. >> my first instinct was, well, they went to a bank, we're gonna get a video of this, the license plate, tell who these people are. and that's not the case. >> reporter: the criminal used

coleen's i.d. to cash them. >> every person they talk to at wells fargo including their fraud department told me that this loophole exists. >> reporter: the drive-up locations don't have the security you would think like cameras that can show the tellers who is actually in the car. >> you can go in a tinted windowed vehicle and no one will ever see your face >> reporter: this isn't just a problem at wells fargo. she hopes banks can add a level of cashed from these drive-thru lanes. >> i think when you cancel your credit cards, you think you're safe, but there's this other loophole that exists. >> reporter: she got her money reimbursed. wells fargo has not seen a rash of these. but they did give us some tips.
