>> now we move on to a developing story. three offices recovering after they were injured while trying to get an armed man into custody. the man apparently had a gun and a slew of warrants. shawn chitnis has the story from where it happened at eighth and bryant. >> reporter: police had an idea that the suspect may trey -- may try to get away and they created a parameter. neighbors said this home on the 2600 block of bates as they were preparing to give those warrants to that suspect. of course this had a deadly and. it -- a window was the escape route for the suspect. police when after that man into the street and according to police the suspect to try to grab a weapon from one of the officers and several shots were fired. the suspect was hit and died.
