there today. this morning the bodies of levi shirley and jordan mactaggart are aarriving at union station from chicago this morning. shirley is from arvada and died in july. he grew up here in colorado and we first introduced you to his parents back in july. >> there's no flag at half staff for my son and there should be. he's a hero. he's my hero. >> he had such a strong conviction about injustice in the world that somebody has to stand up and say no. >> he said his real goal was to be a u.s. marine but his eyesight prevented that. his family knew it would be

him. a financial advisor is fighting to win back his life. he says he was wrongly accused of robbing two banks. he has proof he was at work at time of the crimes. karen morfitt has the story. >> reporter: stef's life is far different today than it was two years ago before he was accused of committing two armed bank robberies. >> i had airtight alibis but they focused on me because my face was similar. >> reporter: in september that the man in these surveillance photos was tally. a full swat team showed up at his home. >> they body slammed me down. i had 5-6 people on me. one guy was on my face. they were taking my arms and wrenching them behind me. >> the results, broken ribs,

teeth and now has severe blood clotting in his legs. also he spent months behind bars. >> my job was being on the phone all day. >> he was working for trance america capital and closely monitored. >> i knew they would have a recorded conversation because i was on the phone all day. >> reporter: the case was dismissed but months later police arrested him a second time claiming new evidence and that too was dropped. but the damage to his life was done. >> they destroyed my life. i am actually homeless now. >> tally spent 94 days in jail and never received medical attention for his injuries and investigators are still looking for the bank robber. a man convicted of impersonating a police officer and assaulting a woman is heading to prison. we have been following this

fall. he approached a woman in denver touching her claiming to be a cop and showed a badge. she screamed and scared him off. yesterday he was sentenced to a year and a half in prison and another year in county jail. police on the western slope want to find an armed and dangerous drug dealer. the search for the man led to police raiding the wrong house. they busted into a home with a family and five kids where the dealer onc deputies are extremely committed to accuracy and filing good cases and nobody wants to make a mistake like that. >> the police department will pay for the damages to the home. jill wagner is live this morning on the east coast with our money watch report, hi jill. >> reporter: good morning,

weather watcher up there. big thunderstorms in burlington, they had two-inch diameter hail. a low system coming through behind it, mostly clear but there's a little fog in some locations of eastern colorado. not really thick, just hazy. here's the front as it moved through the area with the low pressure. a big high forming over north of lv out here. that's bringing in clear skies today. cool today because we're behind the weekend temperatures are warming up and drying out. the futurecast does have isolated storms popping by in the afternoon and mountains but it's a shot if any of us get rain at all. just a 10% chance of storms today. highs very comfortable. 70s and near 80s across the eastern plains. 60s and 70s in the mountains and west. our forecast high in denver, 72.

but that's not the case now. she describes hearing her own voice. >> it was weird that i heard my voice. >> what does it sound like? >> it sounds like normal but sounds like a robot. >> she could soon get another implant in her right ear depending on her progress. andrew luck has proved over the years it's he's pretty good. he's one three of the four meetings against the broncos including the last two. in those two games the broncos sacked him just one time. in the game they won they sacked luck three times. coincidence? i think not. the broncos defense knows they have their hands full on sunday. >> all my years going against him, the respect he should get, i don't feel like i've given it to him. he's one of the best can be quarterbacks in the league.
