clear. that's it for us this morning and that's how it stays. 91 degrees in denver today. let's check in with joel. good morning, the ramp closure from arapahoe to northbound i-25 still in place. as the morning commute gets going, we could have double right lane closures extending from orchard. this is due to the ongoing construction there new realignment. they're demolishing a portion of the bridge this weekend. a lot of work to get done there. here we are across the denver metro area. a couple side street issues to sheridan and louisiana and then also we had the closure from westbound i-70 remaining in

passengers are safe this morning. unite flight 296 ended up in a grassy area last night. the brakes failed the pilots had to use the emergency reverse engines. the fbi is questioning people after discovering five devices in jersey. this is after an explosion that rocked a new york city neighborhood saturday night. >> reporter: authorities in new jersey suspended train service overnight after a backpack with five suspicious devices inside was found at the train station in elizabeth. the city's mayors says one of

inspected it. several people were taken into custody in brooklyn saturday night. the surveillance video opp tans by nbc shows people running for cover after the pressure cooker bomb was set off. nearly 30 people were injured. a second device found four blocks away was disassembled yesterday. so far city officials are not calling the incident an act of terrorism. >> we have more work to do to be motivation was mind this. was it political or personal? >>reporter: some experts are pointing to the connections to the attack here in chelsea and the boston marathon bombing. the devices found in new york had cell phones attached. >> that's a step up from what we

go pro is showing off the new drone this morning. investigators hope it's a hit. go pro shares have fallen 20% this year. >> that's really neat. thank you, jill. denver city council members hope to move forward on a plan to improve the city's housing plan. they passed two measures last week, a proposed ten year, (15) property taxes and developer fees to help build affordable housing. an alternate measure delays the fees and tax increase by a year. the council revisits the plan tonight at 5:30 at the city and county building. the broncos always bring us exciting games. yesterday's game offered a different sentiment. >> good guys scored a big win.

great pate patio weather and you can still fire up the grill today after work. tomorrow morning we wake up to more cloud cover. clouds streaming our direction and a chance for moisture in the state tomorrow but it's staying down in the south western corner of the state. they may see heavier rainfall and snow in the san juans and temperatures will be hot. 91 in denver, 88 in boulder and 89 in greeley. we have 89 in burlington. still hot in 95 in la junta. 81 in steamboat and 89 in grand junction. looking at our hour by hour forecast, we're on the sunny side today with warm temperatures. if this is too hot, the first day of fall is thursday. we are slowly cooling throughout the week. friday we're in the 70s and we have the chance for isolated storms. good morning, we'll be expecting the 70s and 80s to

plenty of time. i-25 still have the closure in place until 5:00 this morning. when it reopens you'll expect lane closures on the right side. now that they have realigned traffic they're demolishing a portion of that bridge. we'll keep you ahead of that. take a look at this green we have. this means we're at or near posted speed limit. another project is i-225. looks like we may be picked up as we see the green. you can take airport out to 6th avenue. this project when it reopens we'll have single lane closures on that ramp lasting for the next three weeks. in five years heroin overdoses in colorado more than tripled. most of the victims are in their 20s. how one colorado mom is trying to change that statistic in on
