good morning, i'm alan gionet, great to have you with this morning. i want to get straight to the weather as we first day of fall and it's feeling like summer actually coming today and then fall really gets in gear coming this weekend. 50s is cross the board. 58 in lakewood and city park. satellite and radar showing clouds. partly cloudy today and in the middle of the daybreaking through into sunshine.

visibility. this is along c-470 as you get along hamden just to the west of i-25 there's an accident and then a car which has rolled over in gunnison. details on that coming up in a bit. new this morning, colorado's secretary of state respond to a cbs4 investigation about dead voters. last night wayne williams said the statement well. voter fraud is rare but his office is working to insure all incidents are prosecutes. >> reporter: john was a world war ii veteran, a father and grandfather who died in 2004. but then the denver man did the impossible. he casted a vote in a primary two years after his death. >> the man is vote.

a walmart parking lot. police put stop sticks down beneath the van. they came out and tried to drive off and the tires went flat. the three people inside were still able to ram a police vehicle then they got as far as baseline and finch and took off on foot. police were able to capture all of them using a tazer on one of them. >> it he looked luke he was in pain. >> one officer vehicle was rammed five times. >> police think earlier the adult, juvenile and one unknown age shot out windows and parked cars including one in eerie with a mom and her two year old daughter inside her car seat. thankfully no one was hurt in

predistricts americans will spend a record number this year on pumpkins and treats coming out to 83 dollars per person. >> that's a big money maker. it would second a christmas. new video this morning from russia. >> police were still talking halloween. new video from russia, 8 firefighters died trying to extinguish this fire plastic warehouse in moscow. they were working on trying to do that when the roof just collapsed. it took firefighters 14 hours to put the fire out. they stored plastics and artificial flowers. no word on the cause of that tragedy. tonight c-dot is back at it tearing down the bridge in arapahoe. there's lane closures you want to know about.

. give yourself more time in advance of these closures and restrictions happening throughout the weekend. the big thing you want to focus on is arapahoe road completely closed under the i-25 bridge all weekend and there's some additional closures during the weekend as well. you will still have limited acceon heading north or south. this is a 66 (6) 600-0000 project. there are other highlight ts to the project that include more turn lanes from the i-25 off ramps and also widening roads near this intersection. the goal overall is not only to reduce congestion but improve safety for drivers coming through. the full closure begins tonight at 10:00 p.m.

changing. some cloud cover coming up from down south as well. this showing the big low, this major system of the fall system moving south into arizona. this will be dropping through late today most likely between 7:00 and 5:00. the front will be coming through dramatically changing our weekend. showers and thunderstorms in the mountains could see snow level dropping to 11,000 feet initially and lower than that mountain you may see snow. there we are at 5:00 or 6:00. later tonight we could have rain continuing from 7:00 to about 10:00 tonight moving through the denver metro area as the system comes through. before that happen, it's warm and breezy around here. in the 80s across most of eastern colorado and cool in the mountains, fifts 50s and 60s.

82 in denver today. almost feeling like summer for this first full day of fall. isolated storms this afternoon and there's the big change for the week. upper 60s saturday and sunday. bouncing back to 73 on monday. but quite a change once we see the 60s pop in gear. >> friday and tuesday, not bad . >> 285 this morning ongoing road work and most of the cones flashing lights. you can see the cones along this side as well as you make your way in the eastbound direction. those are in place for a while and we have been watching the lower visibility so watch out for that in various places around town. we have gunnison a roll over accident watch out for that. the earlier accident along hamden and i-225 has been moved.

at 8:00 tonight lane restrictions as you head in the northbound and southbound directions making your way from dry creek up to orchard. demonstrators face a curfew that went into in midnight but police let the demonstrations continue. the protests were mostly peacefully some that walked out on the interstate with tear gas. the family demanded to see the video of keith scott. the police chief will not release it so far. . >> reporter: police in riot gear moved in on demonstrators along interstate 277 in charlotte. shortly before the mandatory curfew took effect. protests stood with their hands
