>> we begin with a storm watch with snow. we have a picture of conditions along the trail road. parts of that road are closed tonight. >> take a look at these pictures from south western colorado. the resort say some ski controllers were there. >> we are tracking those changes from the roof. some parts of colorado could see more snow way tonight. however we are on the recovery mode. things are getting slowly but surely better out there. the temperature is 52-degree and the windchill 48. it's a little biting out there. although promising a little information to look at. it was cloudy in the mountains and a little rain. even the clouds started to clear

find the person wanted in the shooting. hailey was just 16 years old when she was shot in this neighborhood. the mother is hoping somebody will have the courage to come out. >> somebody is out there that knows something and saw something. whoever's mother that is, they know. if you had to bury your child, you would understand the pain i'm going through. >> she says this was the year she finally daughter go to homecoming festivities as long as she came home. she didn't come home. instead it was the police she was greeted by. >> they told me she died. it was the hardest thing to hear. >> police believe hailey was an unintended targeted.

strong. she was diagnosed with leukemia. her mother says she fought so hard. this was not the way it was supposed to end. >> to take her this way, it hurts so bad because we battled for her to stay alive. >> the police say many witnesses fled the scene before police arrived. they are working to identify them. all hailey's mom wants is to 1 person to speak up. >> i want a little piece of my no mother should have to bury her kid. >> the police department has received a few tips, none that have led to hailey's killer. they are urging anybody with any information to contact the police department. the family has a go fund me page to help with expenses. if you would like to donate, please visit us online. >> thank you, jamie. the suspect

hispanic man in his late teens or 20s, dark hair and nostril ring. in a red four door sedan from the early or mid-90s. an investigation under way in southeast fort collins. the police received a report of a vehicle parked in police arrived, they found a body inside that vehicle. there is no information as to how that person died. a person involved in a deadly shooting in a mall has been arrested. police say five people were killed. those victims range in age from a teenager to senior

this mall. >> possible shots fired. unknown number of victims. four women and 1 man were shot to death in the make-up area at macy's. shoppers fled or hid in other stores. >> it was a shot and seconds later another shot. >> he is shown in a surveillance video arriving unarmed. >> i don't know what his motivation was to do this continue or to stop. >> the shooter left the mall before police arrived. >> it was a senseless act, the world knocking on our doorstep and it came to our little community. >> again that suspect 20-year-old is now in custody. police say he acted alone. there is no word on a motive. >> in a developing story, a deputy shot in the line of duty.

>> new developments out of charlotte. after days of pressure from protesters, police released the video of the shooting of scott. police shot the 43-year-old after they say he refused to drop a gun. >> in the spirit of transparency, you are going to facts, footage and an explanation of where we stand today relative to the investigation. >> the chief said his officers were attempting to arrest someone else tuesday when they saw keith scott with marijuana and a gun. >> yes, based on the totally of what we see, he was in a possession of a hand gun. >> the video does not show scott

this is 10:00 this morning. it has a little rain in the mountains. gradually during the day, the light snow, the light rain is kind of fizzling out and we are seeing some breaks on cloud cover. we are still feeling the effects of this monster storm that pushed up into the dakotas tonight and going all the way to texas here. in between that low and thishi francisco, we are starting to see some good northwest pushing in and will keep us on the cool side tomorrow. it's going to be a very cool fall like day. once this high gets into nevada and colorado, the temperatures will start to go back up once again. hot again, it wasn't too bad.

5:57. it's 52 in the city and northeast wind at 6, but from time to time the wind kicks up to 18 miles per hour. that will die down tonight. mark russell is in walden colorado. there is a big t on it. another great shot this is looking at georgia pass from the pike national forest. she called this glorious gold. future cast, clear skies developing overnight statewide and during the afternoon. if you want sunshine, you will have it all over the place tomorrow. 20s and 30s up there and mostly 40s down low and a lot of rain in the west.
