. >> this is the news, breaking this morning, arapahoe county sheriff's deputies have an alert out about a missing young mother and her baby. >> there is a sense of urgency to find these two because the baby suffers from seizures and needs medication, jamie here ear has been working this story for us, what can you tell us. >> reporter: we are in the area where they were last spotted. we want to get to this pi of them. this is 4-month-old dante and his mother, jasmine tolliver. they tweeted the news around 3:00 this morning, reported missing around 10:00. the sheriff's office told me it doesn't believe this was a custody issue. jasmine was in a foster home with her son when they disappeared. her haires say dyed blond and she was last seen wearing a black shirt with pink and gray sweat pants. very chilly out this morning,

mark cuban in the front row. trump threatened to bring gennifer flowers. the trump cap says she won't we there. the focus of the debate will be on a wide variety of issues including national security, economic growth and the country's direction. the vice president shall candidates spent sunday talking about what are the best scenarios for their running mates at the debate. >> we need to hear from the two candidates and i hope the >> use are going to have to see him get into specifics, so will hillary. fair is fair. we are going to see who can answer the specific questions. >> reporter: it could mean more viewers than carter versus reagan in 1980 with clinton and trump close to each other on the debate stage and ready to rumble. . >> cbs news is live coverages

for his charisma, his style on the growns as well as his marketing empire. today people remember him. he died yesterday afternoon at a pittsburgh hospital. he was admitted last thursday for cardiovas cue lar work. palmer was 87 years old. a vigil set up in miami, florida, for marlins pitcher jose fernandez, he died yesterday in a boatin off of miami. tens of thousands reacted to the star pitcher's death. fans showed up outside the marlins stadium yesterday to pay theirs are. he killed along with two others in a boating accident sunday morning. the boat flipped and smashed on a causeway. the cause of the crash is still under investigation. fernandez leaves his family, girlfriend and unborn child. this monday morning we are at 45 degrees in denver.

definitely a little chilly out there to start the day. skies are clear across the state. mostly sunny skies, temperatures in the mid-60s. by lunchtime, still pretty cool at lunchtime. we get to the mid-70s throughout the afternoon. highs for today, 77 in denver, 76 in boulder, 78 degrees in greeley. your eastern plains, looking at lot of mid to upper 70s out there. 78 in la junta. 76 in degrees as you head for your five-day forecast, tomorrow back to the mid-80s. it will feel a little bit like summer from tuesday through thursday. could have mountain rain, maybe storms off to the west on wednesday, on friday chance for a few storms roll back into denver with slightly cooler temperatures. let's check in with joel. good morning. >> take a look at copter 4. c470. checking out the recent construction work being done there, that closure moving out

get throughout the week. i-25, c-470. look at all the cars heading northbound. speeds into the 50s and 60s. 9 minutes drive from thornton to denver. seeing a bit of slowing as you travel in the eastbound direction v westbound along i- 76. all nice and wide open right now. a lot of volume on the roadways. i like this shot because can see the volume. making your way into town. right now not too bad. looks like we may have something in the road. southbound along i-25. we were late picking up construction along there near evans and then it started backing up, it's never really recovered. that's made a mess of things. northbound along 225. speeds into the 60s.

this is the news on wall street this morning. new developments surrounding wells fargo. jill wagner is live at the new york stock exchange. hi, jill. >> reporter: good morning, futures are pointing to a bit of a selloff this morning on friday the dow fell. two former wells fargo workers are suing the bank for more than $2 billion alon they were fired or demoted because they didn't meet impossible sales quotas. earlier this morning regulators fined wells fargo $185 million because workers opened millions of fake accounts to meet the sales goal. snap dallas chat reporting its first glasses, they can record 10 seconds of video at a time

iowa. they canceled classes until wednesday. this same area was devastated in 2008. flooding killed two men in wisconsin just last week alone. a big tanker fire to tell you about this morning. gulf of mexico, huge plume of black smoke could be seen for miles yesterday from that fire. that fire is out this morning. that's the good news. the tanker is owned by a mexican company. it was carrying gasoline and diesel. of few leaked. everybody on board rescued. experts are looking into why that happened. the popular online talk show between two ferns just made history. the show features different guests. everyone on the show apparently insults each other throughout the interview. a recent episode with hill ear clinton v -- hillary clinton was viewed more than 30

police believe her and her her child may be seeking shelter somewhere. again the most important part of this situation is that child is in need of medication. here's their picture. 4-month-old dante and his mother, jasmine tolliver. the sheriff's office said they don't believe this is a custody situation, she was in a foster home. 5'3", 105 pounds, her hair dyed blond and last seen wearing a bl sweat pants. you're asked to call the arapahoe county sheriff's office if you have any information regarding their whereabouts. >> thank you so much. the latest on a woman recovering after being stabbed multiple times. the attack happened yesterday near hudson in weld county. our sean drove up to the small town where neighbors say a crime like this is so unusual.

sights and sounds they've never seen before. >> it's kind of shocking something like this happening in our small community. >> reporter: at first one sheriff's cruiser came by and then several more with ambulances right behind. >> that's when we really started being suspicious of what was going on. it very quickly escalated to a situation where there was probably 10 or 12 emergency responder vehicles. >> reporter: while all of this was happening on the to take the victim and suspect to the hospital. an amazing sight for zach who has lived in the area' his whole life. >> we've never seen this, we are a small community. >> reporter: just as impressive is how neighbors saved this woman's life. he knows the neighbors who used equipment they found around the house to hold up the suspect.

shooter happening in houston, texas, we have the copter overview her. police say they have shot the shooter. this is all happening in a parking lot here near a shopping center, reports say they may have swarmed a grocery store in this area. >> right now you can see all the officers arrayed out there. it looks to be over at this point. the west side of houston right near bel air junction were shot and an active shooter was shot. there aren't any other suspects at this time. all of this follows a shooting at a mall in washington state over the weekend. back to the scene if we have anything new. arapahoe county sheriff's deputies are looking for you're help in finding a 15-year-old mother and her little baby, believed to be in danger.

heada daniels has more on his legacy on and off the course. >> a heart felt thank you to our four-time masters champion, mr. arnold palmer. >> reporter: golfing trailblazer arnold palmer was known simply as the king. he learned the game from his father who was a greenskeeper at a golf course and pennsylvania, after serving in coast guard, palmer returned to the game he loved. his first tour wi canadian open in 1955. palmer is credited with making the game popular in the '60s and built a fan base known as arnie's army. >> i like to think and truly believe that golf and golfers promotor some sort of human values that symbolize so many americans. >> reporter: over the course of his distinguished career, palmer would go on to win 62

died after a boat he was on crashed into a breakwater in miami. that boat was flipped. two others on board also died. the marlins manager reacted to that tragic news. >> kids play little league or something like that, that's the joy that jose played with. >> the team canceled its game yesterday, but fans still showed up in support. fernandez leaves his family, a girlfriend and his unborn moment of silence yesterday at their game against the cleveland browns. new information about a woman in boulder who filed a lawsuit against whole foods. she claims her former employer discriminated against her because of her sexual on thation. she spoke exclusively to melissa garcia. >> feels like i was really let down. >> reporter: jennifer johnston

supervisor started to harass her on a near daily basis. making offensive comments about her being a lesbian and prying into her personal life in the bedroom. >> she told me i looked -- only gay people wear crocs which i took offense to. >> reporter: when she complained to manage, she says about the only action they took was to write the mag wrote her up for playing music with obscene words. >> i wasn't supported back when i always supported them. >> reporter: the lawsuit filed wednesday in u.s. district court asks for front and back pay and other damages in the loss of employment that johnston says she was compelled to resign from. her attorneys hopes the legal action brings change for workers nationwide.
