no into the viewhouse. pay no attention to the meteorologist. our forecast for the next 20 minutes, 100% sunshine. jordan, how are you doing? 3-0. >> good. >> enjoyed the flight back last night, i would imagine. >> like you said good to be sitting here 3-0. >> so much nt least on my radio show, about saunders asking for the ball. >> i know that demare yous and emmanuel want the ball. that's just the competitive nature. i don't think it was anything like that, it was more of just
6:32 pm
>> i have to imagine today in the meeting room, they were all smiles. >> absolutely. it was a good meeting. >> you guys weren't surprised at all to see that from trevor simian. fans had not seen him throw the ball like that. but you guys knew he could flow the deep ball. >> absolutely. he does it every day, and goes out there and proves himself every day on the practice field. if you can do things like that in practice, obviously, you'll have some success, taking it out there on the field. up what trevor simian did. let's take a look at our coors light, cold hard facts. you see the numbers for emmanuel sanders, and demaryius thomas. prior to that, they had no touchdowns this year. so certainly lots to smile about in the wide receiver room, and simian, really opening up the arm, and showing off the cannon yesterday. >> we know we've got a good young quarterback. he's on a good team. and this is a great sign that
6:33 pm
environment and handle himself. he played big. we keep going here and keep approaching each week, like it's the first week and let him continue to get better and play better around him. >> here's what i need to ask you about trevor simian. first, i actually saw what i thought might be emotion during the game, so that was awesome, to see him actually get excited about something, after watching him through practice through the preseason, i never seem to see his pulse move but two clutch drives. down 17-16, and he leads you on two drives for a touchdown. that's good quarterbacking. what did you guys think? >> just how much poise he has, and he doesn't have much emotion, which is a good thing, especially at the quarterback position, to never get too high or too low. he just stays the course and
6:34 pm
best position to be successful. >> one thing i thought was interesting, he put him in the backfield, and made sure he provides protection. cj made a good block for that play. it was your first road trip. were the butterflies a little different? >> there's a different feeling than getting to play in front of your home crowd. we love playing here, but you've got the road. it's fun to be in front of another crowd, knowing that everybody is against you, and it's just you and the guys on that sideline. it was a fun experience for the first time. >> you know what, one of the big plays that nobody really talks about, you guys are running some type of crack quarterback keep on the 2 point conversion. you just go up 22-17. there's a fumble on that play,
6:35 pm
that's big. you're the only one even near that. take me through that for a second. >> yeah, obviously my job is to crack the backer, and to set an edge for trevor to score. it didn't work out like that. trevor slipped, and seemed to fumble. you can't really question at that time. you've got to go make a play. just reacting quickly, and trying to get there before he got down the sideline. >> good news too, was only two fat offensive linemen and one skinny receiver. >> had you not made that tackle, should have been looking a different way. xfy ndayive at the viewhouse, brought to you by xfinity. we all know how tough it is keeping up with your favorite teams and games so make it simple. plenty more to come from at the viewhouse in centennial.

6:40 pm
you got a hair cut? >> probably a good three and a half, four years. >> here's the thing about nicknames by the way. you knew he didn't give himself that nickname. because only tool boxes give themselves nicknames. nobody would nickname themselves sunshine. >> no, absolutely especially in the sport we play. it's a little soft. >> take me through kind happened. >> yeah, it was actually my first play in the game. we ran like a 15-yard curl route and i knew it was off coverage. just ran the route, and saw the ball come in. >> you had a social media outburst during training camp with the one handed catch. it was amazing, i was out at espn, and everybody goes, did
6:41 pm
>> you mean sunshine? unbelievable, tell me about this. >> yeah, it was just running a simple go route. at the last second i saw the ball was a little behind, and just threw a hand up to adjust. and joked around also. thankfully i had those underarmor gloves on to help me out. >> nice shout out to the sponsor too. let's talk about last year too, you had a chance to work with peyton manning. wh was coming back? you kind of became his main guy working out with him. >> it was an incredible experience, obviously. put a lot of work in with peyton, and you know peyton's work ethic. we were in there three or four days a week, during the practice week before practice, for hours at a time, just trying to get him right, and rehabbed, and back onto the field. obviously that was good in itself, but everything i
