two people shot near federal and wads just north of yale. live look from the scene. both are expected to be okay. police do not have anyone in custody or anymore more details. vandals targeting one of denver's oldest churches, destroying century-old windows and a priceless sculpture bush is live outside the church tonight with a look at the extensive and sad damage. >> reporter: vandals did a ton of damage. he was grabbing dishes and throwing them through the stained glass windows. and it's gonna be like this for a long time. the church is strapped for cash and they don't know how they're gonna pay for repairs. denver's oldest catholic church was still

unknown man ransacked the sanctuary. a man emerged from a hiding place in the church after remember >> he went berserk and started throwing things through the windows, knocking down the statues, and just making a total mess. >> reporter: he threw dishes fr glass windows -- stained glass windows erected in 1879. >> the statue we can't replace. it had been here their hundred years. >> reporter: the church estimates the damages in the thousands. a group of transients camp around the corner but they did not recognize the assailant.
