happen. >> reporter: we talk to workers who said they saw police in this part of the parking lot but the only thing around here is a plasma center. take a look at this guy again. this is who police are hoping someone will recognize. they say he is 47-year-old christopher remsen. he has been linked with the car , a 1994 gmc suburban q if i'm police are calling this a possible kidnapping because reports of only comment from witnesses in the area. it was around 1:00 this afternoon when he was assaulting and tracking of female into that vehicle. the woman was identified as the fields which leads us to believe they are related somehow. they do not have much information because they can't find either one of them.

and they told us he is an aurora resident and they do not believe that he has left the metro area. anyone with information is urged to call 911 or aurora police. reporting live, cbs4 news. firefighters are keeping an eye on the grass fire. it started this afternoon on the east side of lake fire officials say that fire has burned 20 acres. crews used to helicopters to battle the flames. no structures are threatened. the firefighting efforts will continue tomorrow morning. the search is on for a man who opened fire on police killing two officers. they believe that man is hold up in palm springs. >> investigators say police and then responding to a call them a woman who said her son was causing a disturbance.

new video shows the moment shots are fired in lakewood. police released the footage and hopes it might spark tips. you can see the flash as a man fires his gun. it happened august 18 near the trails in hotel.

police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the shooting to please come forward. authorities say nearly 500 people have died in haiti in just one district. the death toll remains unknown because rescue crews have not been able to reach mountain towns. it's estimated over 900 people have lost their lives. matthew is a category one hurricane. the storm is leaving a trail of destruction across the southeastern us. a powerful storm surge collapsed appear and heavy rainfall in south carolina left road submerged. that area could receive another seven inches of water. and florida, residents are beginning to assess the damage. further south and eight block stretch of roadway was washed away. >> it is unbelievable. it is mother nature having something against us.

at least nine deaths here in the united states. an update on the troubles for epipen. the manufacturer has agreed to pay a $465 million fine. the pharmaceutical company was accused of overcharging medicaid for its products because they classified epipen as a generic drug. the company was already facing backlash for hiking up the price of the drug. now to a story you will only see on cbs4. a firefighter and his wife lost everything when the wildfire burned down their home. that was three months ago and their beloved st. bernard has yet to be found. kelly worth when shows us how today and organization gave them financial help and a big surprise. >> reporter: in a matter of seconds everything can change. like when firefighter charley smith men saw his own home burned to the ground as he battled the cold springs fire in july.
