good morning, everyone. i am alan gionet. we start this morning with breaking news out of denver. >> 22 people shot near larimer and that is worshiped in genesis right now. -- that is where shawn chitnis is right earlier one man had been shot outside of a bar at this location but denver police just putting out the details two people have been shot. the other person is critical so it is unclear if that man who shot earlier if he is the one who has died or if he is the one in critical condition. this started when denver police arrived to find the situation

people coming outside of this bar located on 27th and larimer. it was a bit of a challenge to try to deal with so many people coming out at once. they were able to talk to many of them although some do not cooperate, and they did have to close office area immediately. it is still close off as part of larimer are closed off with crime scene tape . we are working to hear from denver police in terms of who that person was who was killed in the other person in the hospital with critical injuries. for now it is going to be quite some time before they open up the area so expect to run into the roadblock. shawn chitnis, cbs4 morning news.

on the ramps there and the police activity where sean was. and then up into the high country you can see just a little bit of slowing. along c-470 where they continue to ongoing paving work. head coach gary kubiak was hospitalized after the broncos game yesterday. today we hope to learn more on his conditio suffering from flu-like symptoms. a spokesperson for the broncos said his kubiak condition has finishing the i've been sleeping the sports authority field. this is -- has been leaving the sports authority field. in 2013 kubiak suffered a stroke and collapsed while walking off the field.

good morning everyone. there is new hope for people suffering from head and neck cancer. researchers say in a -- a new drug could be a game changer for those suffering with relapse of head and neck cancer. a study finds double the patients were alive after taking this drug. patients also reported fewer serious side effects the drug cost varies widely even when
