we have heading the northbound direction of i-25. we just had a few lanes blocked out to yell this morning. breaking news this morning with an early-morning shooting rattling the rino district. these are pictures from a little bit early. scotty shawn chitnis reporting on what happened. shawn ? >> reporter: police presence at this intersection with police blocking at both ends of 27. some crime scene investigators still tracking evidence of a few minutes ago. this all happened around 1:15 this morning. police telling us it was quite the scene as they arrived. it is fairly new and they do have some sort of ronco's watch

still going on when this shooting happened. we noticed quite a few people in broncos here as we were arriving. two people were shot and one person has died. the other in critical condition at the hospital. all those people inside the bar came out during the shooting becoming witnesses from the shooting. this morning please don't do not know who to pursue. we know they were at the hospital tried to get information from one of those victims but at this point it is still unclear who might be responsible and denver police remain on seeing -- remain on the scene. shawn chitnis, cbs4 morning news. this morning we are waiting for word for the condition of

after the broncos lost yesterday. this is not the first time he has had helped it troubles. cbs4's jamie leary is live at the stadium with the latest. >> reporter: we do hope to learn more about how coach kubiak is doing this morning. yesterday he was experiencing flulike symptoms and while they say it was just a precautionary measure that he was taken to the hospital, he did have a years ago suffering a mini stroke in 2013. he was taken to the hospital last night and video shows the ambulance leaving sports authority field. according to cbs4's medical editor dr. dave hnida someone who suffered a mini stroke can suffer another. dr. hnida said these can develop over the course of time.

this is health this morning with new hope for people suffering from head and neck cancer. researchers say a new drug could be a game changer for patients suffering with a new study finds more than double the number of patients were alive after taking the drug nivolumab for one year. patients also reported fewer serious side effects. the cost of treating breast cancer with chemotherapy varies widely. that is according to new research published in the journal of cancer. the study also finds patients

we are pleased 15 degrees -- at least 15 degrees above normal but the mountain areas in the 50s and 60s later on. meanwhile our next weather maker to the northwest of us is in montana and idaho. you can see the system sweeping through late in the day tomorrow . enjoy this nice weather while late tonight cole tomorrow there could be a brief snow shower in the mountains. along the front range we keep it dry with clouds on the increase. tomorrow afternoon it is possible one or two showers could make their way out with a few rumbles of thunder tomorrow but not anticipating much in terms of rain. behind the system we drop 258

interception. he fumbled twice and the broncos has just one possession for more than 36 yards. the game had been largely decided by the third quarter. lynch through a pass to demaryius thomas. the defense had its own issues as well as the falcons came in with the number one offense and found room to work pattern. matt ryan's 267 passing yard had 180 coming including 132 receiving yards for tevin coleman. the broncos may have limited julio jones but the falcons tested the linebackers and became the first nfc to win in denver since the detroit lions.

>> shawn chitnis has a working all morning for us. what are your learning, shawn ? >> reporter: we see police are still working to crack evidence. we see officers checking some of the cars parked right where this shooting happened. the good news is they are starting to open up part of this area. the street is still somewhat locked on 27th shooting actually happened. this again happening about five hours ago right outside of the cold crush bar. it was happening some kind of broncos party. it is not clear if that still going on although we did see plenty of people wearing broncos gear. this bar is about four years old and has been in the neighborhood
