>> started kissing me open mouth. as he was pulling me towards him. i pushed his chest and spoke -- put space between us and said get real. >> it's one big ugly lie. it's one big fix. >> as for hillary clinton she has her own troubles, a steady stream of leaked e-mails keep coming from wikileaks, one in which the hillary clinton campaign asked bill clinton to canca because it wouldn't look good. what -- where the campaigns go from here? shaun boyd sits down with our analysts for this week's reality check. >> reporter: unfortunate to be joined by our republican analyst dick wadhams and penfield tate. this week has seen a new scandal every day. let's start with the growing number of women accusing donald trump of sexual assault. accusations that he denies. he is now seven points behind.
6:31 pm
>> not without a major mistake by hillary clinton which is eminently possible. hillary has got her own problems. but trump appears to be doubling down on going after the women who have made accusations against him. i don't see how that is a winning strategy. 's >> reporter: your thoughts? >> i agree. i think he has fallen too far behind to recover. absent a major gaffe by the clinton campaign, and i also think he's just himself and his campaign by attacking these women. he ought to find some issue to focus on so that he can get the media off of the story, but he's just basically allowing everybody to swirl around this story and continue. >> reporter: it's interesting because you had these e-mails that are being released every day by wikileaks. and he is barely talking about those. you know? these could be very damaging e- mails to the clinton campaign. but really not getting a lot of attention because of all these
6:32 pm
i think donald trump deserves all the scrutiny he is getting on these indiscretions, but i got to tell you there's something wrong when the media almost totally ignores the substance of some of these e- mails. when they disparage catholics, when they attack some hispanic elected officials as needy latinos, if a republican had done either one of those things, i can guarantee you the media -- the national media would have been all over it. so while i'm for donald trump, i think it's unfortunate and it's frankly irresponsible of the national media to not give some attention to some of these egregious actions by the clinton campaign. >> the local media has given some attention to this. >> the other thought is, i don't understand why donald trump just can't be quiet. and talk about an issue. because the other part of the story with regard to these e-

fiber of the clinton campaign, there's something fundamentally wrong with an organization like wikileaks and i heard someone joked that they are based out of moscow. but there's something fundamentally wrong with an organization that is stealing the private e-mails of private people and organizations. we're not talking about whether the government is doing covert surveillance of citizens anymore. they are stealing private e- mails and putting them out there in public. >> the fbi is investigating >> reporter: two of the most competitive races in the country are here in colorado. republicans mike coffman and scott tipton defending their seats. is trump hurting them? what do you think, penfield? >> definitely. that's why these are two of the most competitive seats in the country. and if you had any doubt about that, all you have to do is watch all of the national money flooding into colorado. particularly in the coffman and

putting in tons of money. mike coffman has tried to distance himself from trump with some of his own public statements. but yet and still the trump campaign has been a drag on he and scott tipton. >> reporter: they could be in trouble, dick. >> mike carp -- mike coffman and strong -- scott tipton are strong incumbents and it's clear there races seem to be affected by this. what a sad legacy if the trump campaign took down the entire republican pn election. good people like mike coffman and scott tipton who a great conservative republican commerce men who do a good job. i think that would be tragic. >> reporter: it does seem we're headed in that direction. thanks. we're out of time so we have to leave it at that. back to you. >> always informative. a fight over a thermostat may have led to the shooting that left two police officers in boston in critical condition. officers richard sent hello and matt morris both wanted badly.
