good morning, shawn . >> reporter: good morning. certainly there will be millions of ballots mailed out to those registered voters here in colorado. this comes as both campaigns have major circuits in town trying to get out the vote and built support as we get closer to the election. let us start off with the republicans and donald trump, jr. returning to colorado today. last week he was in the battleground state of north carolina. donald trump, jr. will meet with supporters and volunteers at 11 a.m. at the centennial gun club and then this afternoon he will be at the sink in boulder. his father arrives tomorrow and is said to speak in colorado springs and then heading to grand junction. that is on tuesday. also some supporters for the

of highway 34 will be closing in big thompson canyon for six months. the road was badly damaged in the 1976 and the 2013 floods. cdot will be working on more permanent repairs with people having to use highway 36 to get from loveland. expect delays until may of next year. police are investigating the deadly shooting of a denv shooting. deonta mcdonald killed last week when a suspect opened fire at his apartment complex. melissa garcia have the latest. >> i heard this really loud pop. it osha's four or five them them them -- it was four or five bam bam bam. >> reporter: her roommate stepped outside and was shot in the head. >> i daughter was standing
