5:03 am
>> shaun boyd tells us about one moment last night that got reaction from all over the political world. >> reporter: the most extraordinary moment of the night is when donald trump said he loses it may not be a peaceful transition of power. he had been talking about a rigged election for him and this was shocking for him and the fallout could be significant. while that is the moment everyone is talking about, this debate may be more than any other highlighted the stark difference in the candidates' positions on some country's most emotional issues. they debated late term abortion and they promised to appoint supreme court justices that support their positions. they both did a good job of appealing to their base. but likely didn't change any minds. and given clinton's wide lead coming into this debate, that's a win for her.

grandkids, or may be a beneficiary designation. any of those topics can lead to broader discussions on family finances and estate planning. you can always offer to review with any family member, if you have questions, i'm not an expert, let's get a professional, an estate attorney, cpa. good to bring in a third party. >> i know some of us are thinking of our parents. how can we balance being a responsible adult child without prying? >> reporter: you know what, if you can focus on your worries, rather than indicting your parents for being disorganizeed messes, it really will help. so for example, you could say, i just want to make sure i carry out your wishes. isn't that better than you saying, how could you not have updated or drafted your will in 30 or 40 years? we don't want to do that. if you're trying to nudge your adult children, a lot of times

debt? with donald trump's plan it would add $11 trillion to the national debt. hillary clinton's tax plan, just her tax plan, would actually shrink the national debt, though other things she has been suggesting that are not part of her tax plan would increase it. net net, not too much of a difference. i think the big issue is that regardless of how you sort of see whether he should do trickle down economics, supply side, meaning if yo people save money, they'll employ others, we haven't seen that come to fruition. i think the big issue that i have with particularly the donald trump plan is that he's predicating it on having growth of about 4% in this country. we are only growing by just about 2%. so doubling the rate of growth seems like a very ambitious number and i just don't see how he gets there. >> it will be interesting to
