center. live at dpd headquarters and this man has a long history with police. >> reporter: he does. in fact, when we looked up his criminal history, he had 17 pages worth on the colorado bureau of investigations. this probable cause statement is going to be adding to that. when he was asked by the 911 operator where the gun was, he did not answer. had to shoot that person. legally lewis should not have a gun because of a prior felony conviction. the victim, 53-year-old thomas johnson jr. was shot in the head and both legislation. johnson was shot inside the house, possibly up stairs. the arrest affidavit shows no signs of forced entry into the home. >> our investigators are back out at the scene trying to gather additional evidence and information that will help us to

circumstances that led up to the shooting. >> reporter: and police also do say and they note in the affidavit that the victim in this case also has an extensive criminal history. live in downtown denver, gin fer fer -- fenner in bryce. nick lewis shot to death on tacoma street. that was october 1 now police have arrested two 16-year-olds on first-degree murder and attempted robbery. we will learn more. englewood police have scheduled for wednesday. police tell us 29-year-old suarez was killed yesterday afternoon. according to neighbors he appeared zombie like and may have been on drugs when he walked into two homes. >> he goes i think i'm in the wrong place, but he wasn't being very responsive.

but dry air toward the eastern plains and temperatures fairly warm. there is an area of low pressure going to ride that jet stream as well. and with that does some moisture. some of our high country could pick up snow through tomorrow night. maybe about 1 to 4 inches and most of that could be in our central mountains and parts of rio blanco county. for the most part not a ton from it, but we will take all moisture we can get and temperatures remain pretty warm for the rest of the week, but warm up just a smidge middle of the week. >> 82 is what we had saturday. that's a record high. we were 3 degrees off that today with a low of 44. 27% humidity. okay. 21% humidity barometer is holding steady now. and take a look at connie
