investigation. right now, a search is under way for whoever stole weapons from a gun store in parker. it happened just after midnight at pony express. >> the guns were stored close to the window, close enough that you could reach your arm in and grab four guns and wildfire that threatened hundreds of homes yesterday. today, we learned the fire was accidently caused by an equipment malfunction. the flames charred 200-acres in the area before being knocked down. in all, 850 homes were evacuated. new tonight, the denver nuggets kicked off their season against the

air making it into northern colorado. what will be happening, there's a lot of business out west, however, i don't think it's going make it into colorado. cooler air settles in. there's the fog. some of it dipping back into denver. then, high pressure presurges into colorado and will start to dry out in the afternoon and i think will be a mostly dry day for the state. this the je air that helps to guide these storms. that is going stay well up to the north. there's a lot of water in this cup of low pressure but it's going ride over that high pressure ridge and unfortunately, it may give us a cool down on tuesday and wednesday but i don't think we're going see much moisture out of that. 77 was our high today at the airport and downtown. cooler than yesterday's 82 but well above

year. other highs, 73 in grand junction, colorado springs, pueblo, all in the 80s this afternoon so still pretty warm in southeastern colorado. tonight, we're down to 54 in the city. an east, southeast wind at 11 miles per hour. humidity, up there at 68%. not crazy humidity but it did elevate. the pres rapidly behind that little front. wayne is our weather watcher in aurora with 51 tonight. so not a bad night. most of our temperatures in the mountains will be in the 40s and 30s. same thing over the eastern plains. tomorrow, we're looking at 70s to near 80 so cooler than today but above normal for this time

so for tonight in denver, mostly clear, light breeze. bronco game tomorrow, kickoff 73, half time, 71, 69 by late in the game. i know a lot are wondering about monday night, it will be in the 50s and clear to partly cloudy through the night. and 75 ought to be the treat for halloween with sunshine cooling it into if 60s tuesday, wednesday, and thursday but still dry here. i think monday when this little cool wave comes through in the mountains in the west, we may get a little rain and snow up there but it doesn't make it into denver and next weekend, we stay dry with 70 degrees and we do fall back next week. >> there you go. >> yeah, rain out west is it
