welcome to cbs 4 news morning news. it is monday on the 31st. happy halloween. >> thank you for joining us we are waking up to a big victory. the broncos defense once again comes up big to help the team to victory. this time bradley in for the injured with a pick off. we'll have more on the win that keeps the broncos on top of the afc west coming up. the raiders on top. that's what is coming up sunday. here's ashton with your weather this morning.

light watch out. ashton is tracking winds from idaho springs to the eisenhower and johnson tunnels. >> thank you very much. new information on the death of a colorado springs firefighter. he died saturday after suffering a heart attack. he worked for the cimarron hills fire department. the fire chief says fry was recently hospitalized for an injury he suffered during training. his death is considered a line he previously worked for the weather fire department. fans trying to park at the pepsi center yesterday for the broncos game may have noticed a change. the parking lot accepts credit cards. cash means you'll pay more. >> reporter: for those who parked at pepsi center for the past decade. >> we are used to paying cash. have it ready at the gate.

,, this morning a judge in orlando, florida will consider if more 9-1-1 calls the pulse night club shooting. 49 members of the people killed will testify at the hearing. huge chunks of buildings came down in central italy overnight. 6.6 magnitude quake rocked the same area of central italy

quakes in recent months. historic buildings are not take the shaking. more than a dozen are hurt this time. that part of italy was hit hard by a massive quake that killed 300 people in august. that one was a 6.2. for the first time in the u.s. supreme court will consider a case on transgender rights. it centered around a student in virginia born as a female but who identifies as a male. the 17-year-old wants to use the boy's restroom but school board objects. no nationwide legal precedent may emerge from the case. however, the supreme court remains one member short of full membership following the death of antonin scalia in february. >> if the supreme court has eight justices and they divide four to four the lower court ruling would stand. that would mean that the student would win. it would not set a nationwide precedence. >> supreme court is expected to hear arguments in the case this winter.
