bring you from overnight. cbs news has learned about a potential terror threat for monday. sources say u.s. intelligence has information that al-qaida could be planning attacks in new york, texas and virginia, all possible targets, although no specific locations were mentioned. the sources stress the intelligence is still being assessed and it's ib counterterrorism officials were alerted to the threat out of an abundance of caution. election day is now in our days -- four days away. colorado is still a big focus in the race. donald trump and hillary clinton surrogates will be here today hoping to sway undecided voters. cbs4's jamie leary live at the capitol now. she has a look at who is coming to down. >> reporter: colorado is rocking as a swing state.

this morning both parties will be pushing to sway those undecided voters. bill clinton, he's going to be campaigning for his wife this morning in pueblo, followed by afternoon events in denver and fort collins. also set to make three stops in colorado today is former presidential candidate dr. ben carson. his first scheduled stop is in colorado springs. he will then head to castle rock, capping off his day with an appearance in aurora. the rush for the last minu face time visits in colorado comes as most recent polls show the race tightening here. a poll released wednesday shows clinton and trump basically in a dead heat. if you had any doubt, the fact that both bill clinton and ben carson have scheduled a busy three-stop tour is yet another sign colorado is in fact a crucial swing state in this election. also taking part in a last minute campaign push is senator bernie sanders. he'll be rallying for hillary

from inside the container and they found kayla brown on the property, located about 80 miles northwest of columbia. >> it was pretty emotional to say the least when she was found, especially when she was chained like a dog. she had a chain around her neck. >> brown told investigators she was kept in the locked 15-foot metal box for two months and fed regularly. she also alerted them to the possibility of more bodies on the property, kohlhepp is in custody and police hope to find her missing boyfriend, charles carver. update on the search for the body of a 15-month-old boy believed to be in a landfill in ault. there has been no sign of the body so far. the mother's boyfriend, logan rogers, told authorities the child hit his head and died.

reason to believe rogers dumped the boy's body in a trash bin in wyoming, which was taken to that landfill here in colorado. he is facing charges of reckless child endangerment and involuntary manslaughter as well. investigators say they're still trying to talk with the boy's mother. a man accused of illegally selling puppies in westminster is on the run this morning. >> how old is he? >> eight weeks. >> kayla brown shared this video. she said the man in it conned her into thin getting a healthy 8 week old pug. brown ended up with a sick dog, too young to be separated from the mother. >> he brings out this pug puppy that barely fit in my hand. i knew something was wrong. i'll never see that money again. it's that these animals need to be rescued. >> brown had a friend meet with the man again to record the
