campaign in colorado tomorrow. we sent our jamie leary to the office, the campaign office, when we got a call about that graffiti into the cbs4 newsroom. she's live at the scene now. jamie. >> reporter: alan, just behind me on the windows the letter, l, was spray painted and around this corner you'll want to take a look at this. this is where a majority of the graffiti was right around here. they're working on power washing it off now. it's not completely gone, but it is doing the job. e special graffiti task force, but it was a good samaritan with a power washer who volunteered to clean up the mess. denver police were notified of the graffiti just before 7:30 this morning. without surveillance it's a hard case to crack. a volunteer got to work with his power washer. the headquarters here has been vandalized before.

alerted joint terrorism task forces that al-qaida could be planning attacks related to polling places. specifically on monday, the day before the election. we told you about this this morning on the cbs4 morning news. the credibility of what they have learned is still being assessed. but an alert earlier this week learned of polling places being seen as attractive targets. the intelligence points to attacks in new york, texas and virginia, but without any specific targets. increase in the volume of threats before an election. new developments in new jersey's bridge gate scandal. a jury this morning convicted two former aides to governor chris christie. they found bridgette ann kelly and bill borony guilty of fraud and conspiracy. the closing of that bridge caused days of traffic jams in

that property. she cleaned houses for kohlhepp and disappeared in august. her boyfriend is also missing. his truck was there. jury selection is underway now in the retrial of a man released from prison after 28 years in colorado. a denver judge ordered the retrial of clarence moses elle last december. he was convicted of rape in 1987, but then another inmate confessed and moses tested but the d.a. said they mistakenly threw out evidence they might compare it to. supporters say they'll ask the d.a. this afternoon to drop the case. new information about the arrest in castle rock that led to the discovery of a house full of dangerous chemicals. one of the 16-year-olds now faces two charges of sexual exploitation of a child and possession of a handgun. the other is being held on a

we've climbed into the 60s around town. 63 at dia. 63 as well in boulder. 61 in fort collins. still at 55 in greeley. upper 50s, lower 60s for most mountain spots. most of us around denver, fort collins, boulder will come close to 70, that's about 15 degrees above normal for this time of year. eastern plains highs in the upper 60s, lower 70s as well. some cloud cover on skies mostly sunny. not a crystal clear day, but mostly sunny through the rest of the day. moisture streaming up from the south. quite a bit of rain in new mexico about to make its way to albuquerque, santa fe will be next, and that will move into the southern part of colorado and snow for the san juans. winter weather advisory starting midnight tonight through noon tomorrow. 3to 6 inches for the mountains

no snow for durango and pagosa springs. even the mountains north of 70 could see some very minor snow tonight into tomorrow. but accumulation won't be more than an inch or two for summit county, eagle county and farther north. you can see this is midnight tonight, and you can see that rain and snow in the san juans and gradually the precipitation moves north. should reach highway 50 by 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. plan on rain and snow in the high country. the accumula going to be for the southern mountains generally along and south of highway 50. front range 6:00 p.m. tomorrow a few showers possible. mainly south of monument hill. and sunday morning, southeastern colorado a few showers are certainly possible. again, for denver i just don't think we're going to see much. if you're farther north erie to fort collins, greeley, i'm afraid your rain chance is almost zero. 71 the high today under mostly sunny skies.
