here. >> we have super excited to bring power of costume to denver. it is a star wars costume exhibition so we have over 70 costumes that the actors war in the films from a new hope all the way to the force awakens. >> not only are there costumes but the development of the costumes right? >> right. so what we have done, working with our partner at the smithsonian is we create an exhibit that looks at the power of creativity and the process. so, from the costume sketch to the final costume they wear, when does that happen? we pull back the curtain on film production and look at it through the telling of costumes. >> we look at it. things were a little dirty. they were very realistic. that's cool. >> that makes star wars so fun. it is a gritty universe. lived in, dirty, gritty, used.

more than that as we head into next week. first, let's go outside and take a look. you see traffic moving along justifiable look, the snow is slowing traffic down. but not this year. doppler 4,000 shows we have a few clouds pushing through the area. if you take a look at the big picture, nothing going on around the nation. big ridge of high pressure over the center of the u.s. you can see this moving up to the north and you see some snow going on there. a couple of showers over the gulf coastal area. here is the cold front bringing cooler air into the area. it leaves tomorrow and we start to warm it up again. 61 and 62 is what we did today. normal highs, 54. 76 is the record. 26 and 31 is where we started out. this is finally normal. normal low this time of the year. northwest evergreen. 56 in dean trail.

it is big disabled for ads offering housing, employment, or credit, they argued the tool was letting advertisers avoid offering products and services to minority groups. and, developing now, artificial sweetener company splenda is suing dunkin donuts. they used to offer it but now offers a chinese off brand that comes in the distinct yellow packets. they claimed dunkin donuts falsely indi splenda in the drinks and they are damaging their reputation. dunkin donuts is not commenting. new tonight, cities all over the country installing benches that are free phone charging stations and can be wi- fi hot spots. they do that without using electricity. mark albert explains. >> reporter: these benches are causing double takes in washington dc. and that is exactly what parks and recreation director keith

>> students and denver take to the streets to protest president-elect donald trump. that is where we begin the reporter brief. >> reporter: i'm jennifer brice in denver. hundreds of middle and high school students walked out of class today protesting president-elect donald trump. many of the students say that they are concerned that their own families will be deported under trump's presidency. this is the second walk-out for dps schools since the election. >> reporter: i'm melissa garcia

hole after a major water main break. an original cast iron pipe put in back in 1890 burst open and flooded the street here at sixth and logan. crews had to shut off the water and that affected dozens of nearby residents and businesses. little india was one of those that had to turn countless customers away. now, crews have replaced that 16-inch diameter busted pipe. they had to they are working to fix the pavement. it will remain shut down until they have it fixed. denver water officials believe it has to do with the pipe's old age. coming up at 7:00, we have a report of a little brushing fire at iliff and valencia. >> i'm surprised we have not had both of them. >> i have five aces in my hand. 68 on saturday. 67 toned.
