homeless because the sidewalks downtown are becoming a health hazard. the camps are filling the sidewalks in the ballpark neighborhood. the city has is has enough beds in city shelters to house the homeless. according to the group denver's road home, most of those on the street are refusing services. people who work downtown are responding to the homeless camps. >> sometimes it's a little scary to walk bunch of people. you see some shady things, syringes or what have you. >> we can probably come up with a better solution than that. i know people recently coming to town want a nice, spotless city. humans do have rights. >> reporter: well, back in march city crews did a similar sweep. people in the neighborhood also say they think the camps will

this, especially with a cell phone, but it is quite the sight to see. one of those things you really have to go outside and see in person. just a couple of clouds along the front range. as we zoom up, we see some rain, even snow over washington state. it's a storm system starting to make its way towards the pacific northwest. here's the storm, still spinning closer to the gulf of alaska than seattle at this point. it's moving towards us and as it does it will spread snow into the the later part of this week. we're talking tomorrow night, wednesday night into thursday. we still anticipate the heaviest snowfall with this system to be in wyoming and montana, where you see the purple near yellowstone national park. for us we'll take anything we can get. for many of our mountain areas, especially northwest facing slopes, since the storm will be coming in from the northwest, we should see significant accumulation, over 6 inches certainly. denver and the front range it's

around here during the daytime thursday. there could be something tomorrow night, but i think there will be more thursday, especially late in the day thursday. and it's possible that that precipitation will start as cold rain and briefly change over to light snow. even in denver coming up late in the day thursday. any kind of accumulation will be minor. this is not going to be a big storm system for denver and the front range. will have more of an impact on the high country. 20s and 30s now in the high country. as britt said, we're in the 50s for some 50 dia. 55 in boulder. it's hard to believe we're in the middle of november. later on today upper 70s. some places could actually conceivably hit 80 today. that's how warm it will be, especially to the southeast part of the state, la junta, lamar, the best chance of hitting 80 down there. tomorrow our last warm day, 76.
