an hour. the first increase would happen at the beginning of next year. johnson county was the first to increase its county minimum wage. the wage there will go up to 10 dollars and 10 cents an hour on january 1st. in may, it increased to nine dollars and 15 cents an hour. five cities opted out of the increase. a seat on an honor flight costs 550 dollars. and students in central city don't want veterans to pay for it. today, central city high school and elen a fundraising effort to see how many veterans they can put on the honor flight. the eastern iowa honor flight takes veterans to washington, d-c to see the memorials dedicated to their service. the all-volunteer organization has already flown more than 2,000 veterans to the nation's capital. the central city fundraiser pins the high school against the elementary. the students that raise the most money will get to duct tape their principal to a wall for a whole class period. they will start the
