morning and walking is something we don't think about doing, we just do it. but for one marion teenager, it's something she's fought her whole life to do. now as she starts high school, that dream of walking might not be just a dream. kcrg-tv nine's brea love joins us now. brea, how is she getting closer to walking more and more? chris and nicole, 16 year old sasha duval has arthogryposis. it's a condition where joints in the body contract. they don't move normally, and they can get stuck in one position. but, starting her new life. this is sasha. she's your typical teenager, and besides her love of soccer. there's two things she loves to do. 23:23 "mostly hanging out with my friends, being in my power chair rolling around." each morning she gets in her chair and zips up and down the driveway before school but, sasha has always had another idea of getting around. 35:13 "we heard about her when she was 11 and a half, and we just knew she was going to be our daughter." 35:42 "when i first met her in ukraine, one the things she told me was 'i want to walk" the duval family adopted sasha three and a half years ago. her parents made it their

ahead of her, but she should be able to go on living an independent life. she wants to get married, have kids, and especially play soccer. chris and nicole? investigators in decorah have found a body in the search for a missing luther college student. decorah police reported bjorn norderhaug missing saturday. someone last saw him around 2 a-m on saturday morning at the corner bar in decorah. that's a couple of miles from the luther campus. investigators say found the 21-year-old student's body after a search along the upper iowa river. around 9:30 on sunday morning, the sheriffs office received a report that a

determined that it was bjorn norderhaug. in a statement, the luther college president said "the luther community is devastated by this loss and continue to pray for bjorn's family. we ask that the community come together and support one another in this difficult time" last night, people all throughout luther gathered for a prayer service to remember norderhaug. this comes about a week after authorities found a u-n-i student dead in the iowa river in iowa city. first responders pulled the body of 20- year-old nathan twedt of mari police are still investigating the circumstances that led to his death. sheriff's deputies in jo daviess county have identified the victim in a deadly hit-and-run. 17 year old alex boelk , from apple river, died shortly after a vehicle sideswiped a parked car and then hit him. he was standing next to the car. it happened around 10:30 saturday night near the 6-thousand block of pea ridge road in scales mound. authorities are interviewing a person of interest in the case. des moines police are

that sent two people to the hospital. one victim is in critical condition. it happened around 9 a-m sunday, at the highland park little league complex -- which can be seen from i-80 and i-35 just east of the merle hay exit. police say a man chased and hit two others with his truck while the group cleaned up debris from an event saturday night. witnesses say the suspect then crashed into a concession stand before police later found him walking along a nearby road. "first it started with a loud noise that i heard and then i looked white truck come out, do about a 360 in the grass and then run into the building " one victim is in critical condition. it took several officers to arrest the suspect. medics also took the suspect to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. police are not releasing their names at this point. technology can go a long way to help students learn. so one teacher in cedar rapids is going online to raise money to benefit his classroom. that story is our show you care
