"it's not lewd. it's sexual assault." perhaps the most extraordinary reaction coming from trump's own running mate, mike pence. friday, he defended trump. >> they'll say, this time we got him. then they turn on the next television the next morng, donald trump is still standing stronger than ever before and fighting for the american people. >> reporter: but the next morning, pence himself releasing a statement saying he was "offended by the words and actions described by donald trump." adding, "i do not condone his remarks and cannot defend them." pence cancelled a campaign appearance, refused to take questions from reporters. and said he would be watching to see what his running mate says tonight.
