patients are still going to the e-r. the hospital says more patients want urgent care because it takes too long for them to get into their primary care doctor. they say one reason doctors are swamped is because of the affordable care act. many more people are eligible to go to the doctor, so they do. since then, they say there's been a pent-up demand for patients to get quick care for non- emergency medical needs. when unity point finley opened this urgent care clinic back in august, they number of patients visiting the emergency room. but they didn't. are those who know winter will eventually get here and like to be prepared. " we've got a lot of people kicking tires...a lot of them set up they aren't even picking them up yet. what they do is call us and tell us they want them, they want their preseason promo price, yet they're not going to pick them up for a couple of weeks. " what is very different this year is how long the fall lawn and leaf care season lasted. until a week or so ago, the repair shop here was still getting lawnmowers and blowers in for repairs that's changed, with about 200 snowblowers in now for preseason repairs and tuneups. retailers say sales pick up when forecasters even mention the possibility of snow. but what they really like to see if a series of storms one after the other. that's when they tend to sell out. bruce and beth? thanks, dave. coralville is extending yard waste pickup into december because of the relatively warmer temperatures. the city says crews will

"we have absolutely no pressure. we have to use this game for upsets and opportunities to get better and go against the best."the hawkeyes starting line- up consists of 2 freshman, 2 sophomores and a senior. coach bluder sees that "when you're a freshman you don't know what you don't know. they don't know that you're not supposed to beat a notre dame. they just go out there and play. that's what you want everybody to do." "you can tell our team in practice is excited about the opportunity to take down number one on our home court. home court advantage and i think our energy will help us out."there's not really a good way to truly prepare for notre dame, but coach bluder feels the schedule so far will give her team an idea of what to expect. this and just trying to get them to relax a little bit. i think that will be a key against notre dame." in iowa city, scott westerberg tv9 sports. it was a loss but the iowa men showed some improvement last night before losing their third straight to notre dame on the road 92-78.... but what a game for the two freshman cordell pemsl was 8 of 9 from the field and had 18 points and jordan bohannon hit 7 three pointers and scored a team high 23 points. school and the basket is the same distance did i expect to come in here and make seven three's no but i figured he would have some opportuities that is why i started him. i probably more proud of the fact that he had 7 assist and one turn. really our first true road game it helps having cordell on the floor we have has 3,4 years of experience together on the floor it's was just nice to get out their i think we took a step forward tonight. i went out and played the best i could
