reality. in the past, tieing the knot in china required getting certificates from hospitals and having a marriage certificate issued. family records had to be changed to finally make it official. divorce required a similarly complex process but became simplified after the marriage law was revised in 2001. now, china is considered the easiest country in which to get married or divorced. one consultation company has long experienced dealing with family issues and now has more than 50 branch offices all over china. in the past, most cases were

money related problems but recently more cases are about divorce. with infidelity as the most common reason. in 2012, the company launched a division dedicated to infidelity. this division has more than 500 consultants. in addition to investigations, this company goes as far as negotiating directly with the lovers and encouraging them to break up with the client's spouses. vice president ming li is leading the infidelity division field work.

one male and one female. this is to understand both the husband and wife's sides of the story and to increase safety. in this case, the consultant went undercover to the restaurant. dai immediately asked for back up to act as a customer. the restaurant was located in an empty street off the main road. most customers seem to be businessmen from nearby offices. the consultants made a reservation before hand but whether they'd see the female manager on that day was a matter of luck. this company divides its work into four steps. the first is to investigate the

making agency located in central beijing. more than 90 million people are registered which was founded in 2005. it handles more than one million cases a year. the company, which this program featured in past episode has launched a division specializing in divorce. the company gets calls and e-mails mainly from the younger generation and tries to encourage them to keep their marriage intact.

only children tend to immediately talk to their parents about their problems. this company tried a new approach. this is a live online program emceed by a consultant with a counselling license. together with the young viewers, she seeks solutions to people's problems. using smartphone, anyone can participate in the weekly show which receives over 1,000 text messages for each episode.

one couple who came to the divorce counselling center consisted of two only children born in the 1980s who married four years ago. the woman was born and raised in beijing and married man from a rural town who runs a company. she gave birth to a cherished boy which prompted her mother-in-law to frequently visit beijing. that's when arguments began to occur. xia li is the consul tantant fo this couple. she had been working as a counselor at a match making company but decided to become a divorce counselor when a couple she helped marry split up.

meanwhile, progress was seen by the infidelity investigation center in shanghai. they found that the restaurant manager who had been seeing their client's husband plans to launch a new branch office. investigators have yet to solidify the basis for negotiations, but they believe this busy period will take her mind off the affair and be a good chance to talk to her. ming was chosen to persuade the
