i'm dave price... it was not whaa ralfml expected when they sat down to watch t.v. this evening. a loud crash...and then this: police say 0yr ldivr and her passenger where traveling too fast when she tried to turn off east 27th street on to shady lane drive. the p-t cruiser ran over the stop sign at the corner and slammed into the garage. police say the driver and her passenger only had minor injuries. the husband and wife inside the house...along with there son were not harmed. charges against the driver are pendg it took an airlift from a helicopter to get a knoxville man the medical attention he needed afr a fire left him with third degree burns. the incident happened just after 1 p-m. fire crews say that the man, in his mid 50s, was working on his truck in the driveway when it suddenly caught

coveralls which then lit the tops of his boots. his two adult sons came to quickly put out the fire...but not before the man suffered sever injuries to his legs. despite the pain he was in fighters say the man was able to walk to an ambulance under his own power. average for 20-14, something that police say could be affected by having a college campus in town. authorities are trying to find two inmates who escaped from a newton facility. the department of corrections say guards couldn't find michael amodeo and jessy foley during a routine check last night. amodeo is serving a 10 year prison sentence and foley was sentenced to 27 years behind bars. both men were convicted of meth charges. authorities say anyone with information about the whereabouts of the two inmates should call 9-1-1. a des moines man goes on trial tomorrow for a fatal accident last november.... 24 year old troy mure junior is charged with vehicular homicide by reckless driving police say he was speeding when he crashed into a tree... the crash killed his passenger, scalicity perez. mure claims he was trying to get away from people in another vehicle who were chasing and shooting at him. his bench trial is set for tomorrow
