cbs 2 news continues to follow a homicide investigation in benton county. county.on monday, investigators released the name of the woman whose body was found sunday afternoon. afternoon.the d-c-i says she was 25-year-old sabrina hustad. an autopsy will be performed on her body.police tell cbs 2 news hustad was found dead in the driveway of a home between shellsburg and urbana. that home belongs to david miller. miller.right now - miller is being held on a probation violation and a theft charge for allegedly stealing a truck. but authorities say he is being investigated for other charges too.the man whose truck miller is accused of stealing, was with a group of friends when they stumbled on a bloody trail, that eventually led to hustad's body.

roads initially had to be blocked off but are now open. just eleven days ago, fire crews responded to another fire at the house on that property.fire officials believe that fire was set intentionally. take a look at this - there was a bit of a traffic headache this morning on i- three-80 in cedar rapids.two lanes of northbound traffic were blocked on the s-curve because a house became stuck. right now - we don't know what caused the issue.but traffic is now back to normal. a man has turned himself in to waterloo police for a hit and run. run.stevenarceneaux, junior is charged with leaving the scene of an accident that caused injuries. injuries.on sunday morning - officers responded to the area of broadway and reihl streets. police say a 13-year-old girl was hit as she tried to cross the street, by a car that didn't stop.she was taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries. police in cedar falls need your help identifying suspects in a pair of theft cases.

five-year-old sean peck of tipton is this week's kid captain!sean will join the hawkeye football team at mid-field when they take on maryland saturday afternoon at kinnick.when sean was nine-days-old, his parents learned he had cystic fibrosis. he was taken to the u-i children's hospital days later for an unrelated issue.today sean has regular treatment for cystic fibrosis, but that doesn't keep him from enjoying video games and training to be an american ninja warrior.he also loves being his sister's best friend. justin checks in now with your

phone.the officer has been suspended from the school while an investigation is underway. the white house could be considering a new strategy to fight isis. isis.the washington post reports senior national security advisors for the president are discuscing a plan to move u.s. troops closer to the front lines in iraq and syria.that would mean american boots on the ground for the first time ever in syria.it would also reflect an escalation of america's role in the terror fight in the two countries.any shift in strategy would need president obama's approval, which could come next week. a budget deal has been met between congressional leaders and the white house. house.it was struck just before mid-night last night. the deal would raise the debt ceiling and lift budget caps for the defense department. house speaker john boehner plans to have the house vote on the deal tomorrow.that's the same day republicans in the house will nominate the next person to replace boehner as speaker.the agreement would avoid a possible default and reduce the chances of a december.
