this morning presidential candidates are regrouping, after the third republican debate in colorado last night. and unlike the last few debates, the g-o-p front- runner is *not business man nald trump.but ananher washington outsider, neursergon ben carson. carson.the top ten candidates dueled in a prime-time debate -- that followed an earlier clash between the bottom four. much of the talk this morning is how the candidatat rallied together against the c-n-b-c moderators -- with many complaining that the questions were hostile.that includes the chairman of the republican national committee. "i was very disappointed in the moderators, i'm m disappointed in cnbc, i thought maybe they would bring forward a pretty fair forum here tonight, but i think it was one gotcha question, one personal low blow after the other." other."several candidates complained during the debate that the questions pitted them against one another instead of letting them discuss the issues.

in hustad's death, but authorities are calling him a "person of interest." interest."miller *is in custody for violating his parole after allegedly stealing a truck. this morning, a south carolina deputy is out of a job. job.deputy ben fields has been fired for slamming a student onto a floor, and then tossing her across a classroom.the whole incident was caught on cell phone video.sheriff leon lott admitted that when he first watched the video, it made him want to vomit. inanapolis.three people were injured in the shooting.one victim is in serious condition, the other two have non life threatening injuries. police said it wasn't a random shooting, and the suspect targeted a specific person. right now authorities are looking for one suspect, but say there may be two. this morning a kentucky shooting suspect is on the loose as well.a manhunt is underway for a man accused of shooting both a police officer and a state trooper.floyd cook has been on the run since saturday.but last night, authorities believe they spotted him in tennessee.he fled and was able to get away once his car crashed.police arrested his girlfriend though, calling her an accomplice. back in the corridor -- there's a new way to recycle your trash in iowa city. city.they're called big belly's and they're solar- powered trash compactors.there are four sets and since thth were set up about a week ago -- they've already gotten rid of 14 regular trash cans in the downtown area.the city's recycling coordinator says with the designgnnd placement of these 8 thousand dollar machines makes it easy for folks to use them.
