right now, now,one man is in custody, suspected of groping three women today on the university of iowa campus. campus.the university even issued a campus-wide hawk alert to warn people. people.cbs 2 news reporter dora miller is live in iowa city with the latest information.dora? one male, whose name has not been released, was responsible

happening within the 24 hours. as you mentioned, there were two campus wide hawk alerts sent today -- one regarding the three incidents of groping and the other for man assaulting a woman near the dorms. according to the university of iowa police, the incidents happened around the ui hospital, main library and hospital ramp 4. the suspect was involuntarily committed to the university of iowa hospitals and clinics. the suspect. we won't know what those are until the investigation is complete. tonight, we'll have reaction meanwhile, iowa state university police are investigating the death of one of their students.they say a man was found dead by railroad officials near tracks last night.foul play is not suspected and the identity of the student is not being notified. new tonight at six, six,colder weather on the way means there's now extra concern for the people who are homeless in cedar rapids. rapids.today, local agencies serving the homeless, came together to come up with a winter sheltering plan for emergency overflow beds for

shelters.in fact 14-agencies have been working together for the past three months to coordinate the plans. "everyone has something to offer even if they can't provide overflow they've got great ideas and other resources." resources."those at today's meeting do, however, say anyone who is intoxicated or high on drugs is not allowed in any shelter anytime a year. dozens of people in cedar rapids joined fast food workers in helping to stage a nation-wide walkout. walkout.among those joining the union-backed fight for 15 campaign in downtown today were volunteers from bernie sanders' presidential campaign. they're fighting for what they're calling a livable wage of 15-dollar an hour and the retaliation.
